He That Dwells In The Secret Place Of The Most High

He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

He that dwells...."He".... is anyone who accepts Jesus as their personal Saviour through obedience to His Word.....walking by Faith and in Truth .....

Dwell...to live in, to reside...to make it your home...the place where you live everyday..the place where some feel safest, the place where we should feel safe and cozy..this sometimes does not happen in the flesh and our homes are in caos...but even within that caos and fear there is a place within each of us that is our home...where we live...a place where we can go even if it's only within our mind and our dreams...a place that's safe.....

There is a dwelling place inside each of us that only we can go to.....whether it be in turmoil or in happiness...a lonely place at times... even then, it's a place where we learn to apply the lessons of life, that God has placed before us to lead us to be all we can be not only for Him but so we can live a life that is full of Joy and Peace with laughter and hope... other times it can become a place that is overwhelmed with grief and sorrow along with fear and anger and no one can enter into to help relieve the pressure of life's terms..no one else is welcome into this dwelling because of the pain ...

Where we live... makes us into who we are...our home where we dwell actually shows personality it shows our morals and by the standards we keep it shows if our home is clean or dirty.... the place where we live can show others who we are in Truth and how we respond and act toward good or bad..if we bring God glory and honor or if we curse Him and ask to die.....our "decorations" show the place that shines and is clean and beautiful...(that doesn't even mean with expensive things...it's decorated with flea market finds...the best kind of character shows when time is spent looking for special things for our homes...articles with meaning and no price tag could ever replace it...things from family that has been passed from generation to generation..things that have no value to others but mean everything to you....Our dwelling place is a place for all to see whether it be a good thing or bad......our home the place we dwell inside ourselves...

The Secret Place.....is where He abides...The Holy of Holies...the place that we can now enter ourselves with our petitions and our requests and lay them at his feet with no other mediator but One...Jesus Christ the son of the living God..the Great I Am manifested Himself in the flesh to die for us so we could live and abide under the Shadow of His Wing by Grace and through His lovingkindness and Mercy...."to abide, to wait, to remain, to delay, to remain behind; to survive; to wait for, await; to expect")

The idea is that of having one's home or residence in the most holy place in the tabernacle or the temple, and of sitting with him in that sacred place. What a way of life...what a place to dwell and abide...Under the shadow of the Almighty - Under his protection, as if under his wings. He intended to illustrate, "the blessedness" of the man who thus dwells with God; who makes him his friend; who makes the home of God his home.

Come Holy Spirit...rest upon us and abide within us...Lord touch Your people and guide us to the fullness of Your Truth in Jesus name...
