We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical discomfort and uncertainty, lifting your arm pain and the lingering concerns about this lump or cyst to our Heavenly Father, who is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. It is good that you have acknowledged Jesus as your Healer, for it is by His stripes that we *are* healed, as Scripture declares in 1 Peter 2:24: *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting that His healing power is at work in your body, even when we do not see immediate results.
The enemy seeks to bring confusion, fear, and doubt, but we stand firm on the truth of God’s Word. James 4:7 reminds us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* This pain may feel unexplained, but we reject any scheme of the enemy to steal your peace or faith. Instead, we declare that God is sovereign over your body, and we ask Him to shrink this lump completely, restoring your arm to full health and strength. Let this trial be a testimony of His faithfulness, for Romans 8:28 assures us that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."*
We also encourage you to continue seeking wise medical counsel, for God often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom He has granted them. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not hesitate to pursue further testing or second opinions if needed, trusting that the Lord will guide each step. At the same time, guard your heart against anxiety, for Philippians 4:6-7 commands us: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Let us also examine our hearts in this moment. Pain and uncertainty can sometimes reveal areas where we may be leaning on our own understanding rather than fully surrendering to God’s will. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Are there areas where you may be struggling to trust Him completely? If so, we ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with fresh faith and assurance that He is working all things for your good, even in the waiting.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon her arm. Lord, You knit her together in her mother’s womb, and You know every cell, every nerve, and every need in her body. We ask that You would shrink this lump or cyst completely, removing all pain and restoring her to full health. Let there be no trace of this affliction, and let her testimony be one of Your miraculous power and grace.
We rebuked any spirit of infirmity or oppression in the name of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Father, if there is any underlying cause—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—reveal it to her and to her doctors, and grant wisdom for the right steps forward. Let this season draw her closer to You, deepening her trust in Your sovereignty.
We also ask for protection over her mind, that she would not be overwhelmed by fear or doubt. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let her heart rest in the knowledge that You are her Healer and Provider. If there is any sin or unforgiveness that needs to be addressed, convict her gently and lead her to repentance, that nothing may hinder Your work in her life.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would use this situation for Your glory. Whether through healing, wisdom, or strengthened faith, let her life be a light that points others to You. We thank You in advance for the good news You are bringing in this, and we trust You to protect her from every scheme of the enemy.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
