The wilderness experience is a profound journey of faith and transformation. In the Bible, the wilderness is often a place of testing, growth, and reliance on God. For example, the Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, a time when they learned to depend on God for their needs and to trust in His promises (Exodus 16:4, Numbers 11:7).

Similarly, Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness, where He fasted and was tempted by Satan (Matthew 4:1-11). This period was crucial for His preparation to begin His public ministry, demonstrating His reliance on God and His victory over temptation.

In our lives, the wilderness can represent times of uncertainty, struggle, or waiting. These periods can be challenging, but they also offer opportunities for spiritual growth and deeper reliance on God. Just as the Israelites learned to trust God for manna and water, we can learn to trust Him for our daily needs and guidance.

The wilderness experience teaches us patience, humility, and faith. It reminds us that God is with us, even in the most difficult times, and that He is working in our lives for our ultimate good. As we navigate our own wilderness, we can find strength and hope in God's promises and presence.

As long as God is with you in the wilderness He gives you peace in your heart that everything is going to be alright no matter which way God moves.

Not sure what one to share I have so many.

One day I was enjoying the morning in my campground and I went for a little walk and sat down on a rock, in a clearing in the woods. As I was sitting meditating on God's creation, a little bird came and sat down on my shoulder and started picking at my hair to take back to the nest. He came back a few times. I felt very much one with God.

A few weeks ago I went for a walk at a local state park close to home. I followed the sound of a Hawk through the woods. After several min walking, I came to the river. After a few min at the river, I started back. As I walked out of the river bed, I saw the Hawk on top of a tree. As the Hawk flew off, I noticed a feeling something was watching me. I looked to my right and there looking at me was a coyote.

I love God's creation and feel more connected to God when I'm in the wilderness than when I am in church on Sunday. Don't get me wrong, fellowship is good, but fellowship with the Lord is great.
