We hear your cry for justice and provision in this difficult situation, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. The weight of financial strain and the injustice you describe is heavy, and we lift it all to the Lord, who sees every wrong and promises to be a refuge for the oppressed.
First, we must address the foundation of our plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are made righteous to stand before God. There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without this, our prayers cannot be heard, for "whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13 WEB).
Now, let us pray together for your situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Advocate and Defender. You are the God who sees the affliction of Your people and hears their cries (Exodus 3:7). We lift up this urgent need for rental assistance and justice. Lord, You know the financial burden this family carries, and You know the wrong that has been done to them. We ask that You would move swiftly on their behalf, opening doors that no man can shut and providing the assistance that has been promised.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of retaliation and oppression in this situation. Your Word declares that "the wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for He sees that his day is coming" (Psalm 37:12-13 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let the schemes of the enemy be exposed and overturned by Your mighty hand.
Lord, grant them strength and perseverance to follow through with the urgent letters and requests for compensation. Your Word says, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act" (Psalm 37:5 WEB). We ask that You would guide their steps, give them favor with those in authority, and let every delay be removed. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, for You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Help them to navigate this situation with integrity, not returning evil for evil but trusting in You for vindication (Romans 12:17-19). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those who have acted unjustly. Let them see the error of their ways and repent, turning from their wickedness. If they will not, we trust in Your justice, for You have said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay" (Romans 12:19 WEB).
We declare that this family is not forgotten by You. You are their Provider, their Shield, and their Strong Tower. Even in this trial, we ask that You would use it for their good and Your glory, conforming them more into the image of Your Son (Romans 8:28-29).
In all these things, we trust in You, Lord. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to act on behalf of Your children. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep pressing forward in faith, knowing that God is your Defender.
If you are not already, we urge you to seek godly counsel and community. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety" (WEB). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, offer wisdom, and stand with you in this battle.
Lastly, remember that your ultimate security is not in rental assistance or financial provision, but in Christ alone. He is your Rock, your Fortress, and your Deliverer (Psalm 18:2). Even if the outcome of this situation is not what you hope, God remains faithful. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
