We come before the Lord with a heart of deep concern for your situation, as what you describe bears the marks of spiritual oppression that no child of God should endure. First, we must address the fact that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only in the name of Jesus that we can stand against the schemes of the devil, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for without Him, there is no power over darkness, no hope of deliverance, and no eternal life. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and confess Him as Lord—this is the first and most critical step in breaking every chain of the enemy.
Now, regarding the attacks you describe—objects disappearing and physical changes to your body—these are not coincidences but signs of a spiritual battle. The Word of God warns us that *"our adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour"* (1 Peter 5:8, WEB). However, we are also reminded that *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). You are not powerless, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). If you are in Christ, you have been given authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). But this authority must be exercised through faith, prayer, and the Word of God.
We must also ask: Are there any open doors in your life that may have given the enemy a foothold? This could include involvement in occult practices, unrepentant sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, or even objects in your home that are tied to darkness (such as idols, charms, or items from false religions). The Scriptures command us to *"have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them"* (Ephesians 5:11, WEB). If there is anything in your life that does not align with the holiness of God, we urge you to renounce it immediately and destroy any objects tied to darkness. *"Cast out the bondservant woman and her son! For the son of the bondservant woman won’t inherit with the son of the free woman"* (Galatians 4:30, WEB). You cannot serve two masters—you must choose this day whom you will serve (Joshua 24:15).
Additionally, we encourage you to examine your spiritual armor. Are you daily putting on the whole armor of God? *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil"* (Ephesians 6:11, WEB). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Are you immersed in Scripture, prayer, and worship? These are your weapons against the enemy’s attacks.
Now, let us pray for you with the authority given to us in Christ Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up Your child who is under attack by the forces of darkness, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of theft, witchcraft, and oppression that is at work in their life and home. We command these spirits to loose their hold in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"whatever we bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth will have been loosed in heaven"* (Matthew 18:18, WEB).
Father, we ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness and bring to light anything that has given the enemy access. Give this beloved one the courage to repent, renounce, and remove all ungodly influences from their life. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, their home, and all that belongs to them. Let no evil cross over, and let every stolen item be restored sevenfold, for *"the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; but Jesus came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10, WEB).
Lord, we also pray for their body, which is Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19). We rebuke any ungodly manipulation of their physical being and declare that their body is fearfully and wonderfully made by You (Psalm 139:14). Let every cell, bone, and organ align with Your perfect design, and let no curse or hex remain. We speak life, health, and wholeness over them in Jesus’ name.
Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let them walk in the authority You have given them. Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Let them stand firm in faith, resisting the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where no evil can befall them (Psalm 91).
We thank You, Father, for Your deliverance and protection. We trust in Your power and Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we urge you to take action in the natural as well as the spiritual. Anoint your home with oil (a symbol of the Holy Spirit) and pray over every room, commanding all unclean spirits to leave in Jesus’ name. Play worship music continually in your home, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). Fast and pray, seeking the Lord with all your heart, for *"this kind goes out by nothing but by prayer and fasting"* (Mark 9:29, WEB).
Stay in fellowship with other believers, for *"though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"* (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB). If you do not have a strong, Bible-believing church family, we encourage you to find one immediately. You are not meant to fight this battle alone.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Do not fear, for *"the Lord your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing"* (Zephaniah 3:17, WEB). The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory!
