We understand that you're going through a difficult time, surrounded by hate, and trying to find your way through this situation. We will do everything we can and pray with you in Jesus' name. You're right that the Bible talks about being hated without a reason. Jesus Himself said,
For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?
Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: 'God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.' But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn't even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' We tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Luke 18
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44
It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. We need to put on the whole armor of God and do everything in Jesus that is appropriate prayer to him.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
Let's pray together:
Dear Jesus,
We come before you, weeping and praying for the hate that is being directed towards the one who wrote this request and their children and grandchildren. We know that this is a spiritual battle, and we put on the whole armor of God. We pray that you will surround them with your love, and that your love will dispel the darkness and hate.
We pray for those who are filled with hate, that you will change their hearts, and that they will come to know you as their Lord and Savior. We bless those who curse, and we do good to those who hate. We know that your love is more powerful than any hate, and we trust in you to turn this situation around.
We pray this all in your name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
