Hate struggle with no money

God, you see why I am struggling with no money right now because I hate it, and made me pissed it off to the maximum. I am not kidding you right now. I told you that I'm not playing because I am telling you the truth. I haven't heard from ### and his lawyers.

We hear the pain and frustration in your words and we join with you before the Father in this difficult season of financial struggle. We understand how heavy it is to have no money and to feel angry and even hateful about that situation, and we know God sees exactly where you are and what you are carrying. He hears your honesty when you say you are not playing and you are telling the truth, and He invites you to pour out your heart to Him.

We want to gently and lovingly speak to the hate and anger that you expressed, because while God understands our emotions, He calls us to handle anger in a way that does not lead us into sin. The Word says Be angry, and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath Ephesians 4:26 and Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God James 1:19-20. Hate and being pissed off to the maximum can take root in our hearts and steal our peace and separate us from trusting God. We are called to cast our cares on Him rather than hold onto bitterness. We also hear your frustration about not hearing from those you are waiting on including lawyers, and waiting can certainly test our patience, but God calls us to wait with trust and not with contempt.

We also notice that your request was addressed to God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share with you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To come to God we confess that we are sinners in need of a Savior, we believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and we call upon His name. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is through Jesus we can bring our financial needs and our anger to God and find grace.

We want to encourage you with what Scripture says about provision and contentment. God knows you need money to live and He promises to care for His children when we seek Him first. Do not be anxious, saying, What will we eat or What will we drink or With what will we be clothed For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:31-33. We are also taught Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. This does not mean we should not work diligently or seek wise stewardship and counsel, but it means we trust God as our ultimate provider and not money itself.

So we pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the financial struggle and the weight of having no money, You see the waiting and the silence from those who should respond, and You know the anger and hate that has risen up in this heart. Lord we ask You to forgive where anger has led toward sin and to wash this heart with Your peace. Replace hate with Your love and frustration with trust. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, open doors for work and provision, give wisdom in stewardship, and move upon those who need to respond so that there is clear communication and just resolution. Teach us to be content and to seek first Your kingdom while we wait. Guard this heart and mind with the peace that surpasses all understanding in Christ Jesus. We ask that this one would know Jesus more deeply as Savior and Lord and would rest in the assurance that You will never leave nor forsake Your children. We pray all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

Being angry and fed up when bills press in and answers feel far off makes sense, and waiting to hear from ### and his lawyers only adds to that pressure. We are glad you told the truth plainly about how you feel. God sees that frustration and He hears you even when you feel maxed out.

When the wait stretches, it can help to make the next contact clear and trackable. If you are able, consider sending a brief written follow up to the lawyer's office noting when you last reached out and asking for an update and a timeline for a response, and keep a copy for your records. For the financial strain itself, you do not have to sort it alone. A local church, community agency, or a trusted financial counselor can sometimes sit with you to look at the immediate budget pressures and point to practical resources nearby.

We are praying for you in this waiting.

Father, You see our friend's need and the anger that comes with it. Give steady peace in the waiting, wisdom for the next conversation with the lawyers, and provision for daily needs. Lead to helpful people nearby and remind him that he is not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your honest and burdened cry has been heard, and it is good that you have poured out your heart before the Lord who sees your struggle and knows your need.

To be without money and to feel the pressure of waiting for word that does not come is a sore trial, and the anger that rises within you is itself a burden that will weary you if it is not taken to the throne of grace. Scripture teaches us that grace which does not make us hate sin is false grace, and that it is our habit never to suffer guilt to lie upon our consciences, but as soon as we are sensible of a fault to admit it before the Lord and ask pardon for Jesus sake. Bring even this heat of spirit to Him in confession, and He will give you peace within, for when a man is perfectly at rest within, he cares little for trials or foes.

You are in the place of waiting, and for a while perhaps you will have to exercise that waiting spirit. The prophet tells us that the Lord waits that He may be gracious unto us, Isaiah 30:18. He is a waiting God, and there is a final success to all His waiting when it turns to a glorious transaction of grace upon the sinner's heart. His people too are a waiting people, not waiting in despair, nor even in hesitation, but waiting in hope, a joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve.

Therefore wait upon the Lord and be of good courage, as the Psalmist says, Psalm 27:14. Waiting upon God is as a servant waits upon his lord, anxious to know what his master wishes him to do, and happy to undertake it, and as a traveler waits for his guide or a mariner for his pilot to steer his course. So wait upon God for direction in this whole voyage of life. He is at the helm. Waiting upon Him is the way to renew your strength until you mount up with eagles wings, for in waiting we receive mysterious strength through the incoming of the Eternal Spirit into our souls, and the world and all its affairs are dwarfed till we see their real littleness.

Do not merely knock at mercy's door without waiting for a reply, but continue waiting at His doorstep in confident prayer, believing in the efficacy of prayer. He is so confident of your need and His generosity that He will answer in His time. You may say, I have the petition and am waiting till He puts it into my hand, it is labeled for me and set aside in His treasury for me and I shall have it when I may safely receive it.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, Thou seest this Thy child in straitness and want, vexed by delay and stirred to anger. Forgive all sinful heat and grant a calm and submissive heart. Thou waitest to be gracious, be gracious now. Provide for temporal need according to Thy wisdom, give favor and a speedy and just answer concerning those from whom word is expected, and grant patience to wait upon Thee alone. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning, Psalm 130:5. Teach this waiting heart to hope in Thy word, to be strengthened and made peaceful, and to trust Thy good providence through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation. Amen.
