I have prayed for many things and God gave me what was good for me. For example, I had been desiring  certain food and a neighbor came a few days later to bring me what I had asked God for.

The Lord hears and answers our prayers in His time.  We must have believe that God heard them and have faith that God will provide His answer. Give God the praise before you have received your request.  God is good all the time.
