As I read your post, Tim, I heard God reveal that Sam has something very important to say to people that he has been unable to get out. It is never God's will that anyone remain sick and Jesus never refused to heal anyone who came to Him in prayer.

And indeed God can work miracles for those who BELIEVE! Tell Sam to TRUST in the Power of Jesus Christ and His Divine healing. It is real and He must reach out for it. God also wants us to ask for forgiveness since we all fall short of the glory of God. We must also forgive others in order to be forgiven. I know Sam knows and understands that.
We go to God in prayer. Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, this day we lift our hands up in prayer to thee for our brother Samuel who is suffering from a tumor inside his throat. We ask you, O Divine Physician to lay your precious hands upon Sam's throat and remove the growth that does not belong there. We ask with full faith in thee, Lord Jesus Christ. And we Thank Thee and Praise Thee and Glorify your most Holy Name. Amen. (Followed by The Lord's Prayer)
