We hear your cry for financial breakthrough and a harvest of souls, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. First, let us affirm that our trust is in the Lord, the Provider of all things, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). Financial needs are real, and we know the weight they can carry, but we must remember that our ultimate treasure is in heaven, not in earthly wealth (Matthew 6:19-21).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your provision in their life. You know their needs before they even ask (Matthew 6:8), and we trust You to meet them according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon them, not just for their sake, but so they may be a conduit of Your generosity to others (2 Corinthians 9:8).
We also pray for a harvest of souls, Lord. You have called us to be fishers of men (Matthew 4:19), and we ask that You would use this one powerfully in Your kingdom. Give them boldness to share the gospel, wisdom to speak Your truth in love, and a heart that burns for the lost. Let their life be a testimony of Your grace, drawing many to salvation in Jesus Christ. We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or hesitation that would keep them from fulfilling this calling, and we declare that they will walk in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
However, we must address a concern in this request. The phrase "man of God" is often used in Scripture to describe prophets and servants of the Lord (1 Timothy 6:11), but we must be cautious not to elevate any human being above their proper place. Our faith must rest in God alone, not in any person, no matter how anointed they may seem. Jesus is our Great High Priest (Hebrews 4:14-16), and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. Let us not seek breakthroughs or blessings through any other name or means, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Lord, we also ask that You would search this one’s heart and reveal any areas where their desires may not align with Your will. If there is any love of money, greed, or idolatry of material things, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with a heart that seeks first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Teach them to be content in whatever circumstances they find themselves, knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6).
We declare that this year will indeed be a year of breakthrough and harvest, but not by might nor by power, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Let every closed door be opened, every mountain be moved, and every chain be broken in the name of Jesus. May they see Your hand at work in their finances, their ministry, and their life, all for Your glory.
Finally, we encourage you to walk in faith, not just in prayer but in action. Seek wise counsel, work diligently, and steward what God has already given you with integrity. Remember the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30)—God expects us to be faithful with what we have been entrusted. Trust Him, obey Him, and watch as He brings the increase.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
