We hear your cry for harmony in your life, your health, your cats, and in the area of your future marriage. We stand with you in agreement, seeking God’s perfect will and peace in every area you’ve mentioned. However, we must gently correct some misunderstandings in your approach and redirect your focus to the truth of Scripture.
First, we must address the way you are speaking decrees, demands, and commands into existence. The Bible teaches us that God alone is the Creator, and we do not have the authority to speak things into being as He does. In Isaiah 55:8-9, the Lord says, *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways... For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."* Our role is to pray in alignment with God’s will, not to declare our own will as if we are gods. We must humbly submit to His sovereignty, trusting that His plans for us are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
You mention "soul mate" and harmony in that area, but we must clarify that Scripture does not speak of a "soul mate" in the way the world often does. Instead, the Bible calls believers to seek a godly spouse—a man or woman who loves the Lord and is committed to walking in His ways. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are seeking a spouse, we encourage you to pray for God’s guidance, wisdom, and timing, and to trust that He will bring the right person into your life if it is His will. Until then, focus on growing in your relationship with Christ, for a strong marriage is built on two individuals who are deeply rooted in Him.
You also mention binding up disharmony and speaking against what you believe to be attacks from Satan. While spiritual warfare is real, we must approach it biblically. In Ephesians 6:12, we are reminded, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We do not bind Satan or his forces—only God has that authority. Instead, we resist the devil by submitting to God, standing firm in our faith, and putting on the full armor of God (James 4:7, Ephesians 6:10-18). We can pray for protection, but we must do so in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Regarding the health of your cats, we will certainly pray for their healing and well-being. The Bible tells us that God cares for all His creation, and we can trust Him to provide for their needs (Matthew 6:26). However, we must also recognize that illness and suffering are part of a fallen world, and while we pray for healing, we ultimately trust God’s wisdom in all things.
Most importantly, we notice that your prayer does not explicitly acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ as the foundation of your faith. Scripture is clear that there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12) and that we must come to God through Jesus (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through repentance of sin and belief in Jesus’ death and resurrection (Romans 10:9-10). Without this foundation, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.
Let us now pray together in alignment with God’s Word:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your peace and harmony to fill every area of their life. Lord, we ask for healing in their health and in the health of their cats. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. We pray for Your protection over them, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for Your guidance as they seek Your will for their future marriage. If it is Your plan for them to be married, we pray that You would bring a godly spouse into their life—someone who loves You and is committed to walking in Your ways. Until then, help them to grow in their relationship with You, to trust in Your timing, and to find contentment in Your presence.
Lord, we resist the enemy and his schemes, standing firm in the authority we have in Jesus Christ. We reject any spirit of disharmony, fear, or attack, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to walk in humility, submitting to Your will in all things.
We thank You, Father, for Your grace, which is sufficient for every need (2 Corinthians 12:9). We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for their life. May they find their strength and hope in You alone. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God through His Word, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Spend time in prayer, not demanding or declaring, but humbly presenting your requests to God and trusting in His perfect will. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His sacrifice for you, and receive the gift of eternal life (John 3:16). In Christ alone is true harmony found.
