A very large group of people has been harassing me under the influence of demons for years. There are certain reasons why this is occurring. The things these people are doing in harassing me are literally crazy and nonsensical and are only harming them in the long run not me. Their behavior is chaotic and doesn't make sense. It's obvious something demonic is behind it and I know for a fact that it is. I am going to be trying to reconcile with these people this weekend (at least some of them). Please pray for me about all this and that the demonic behavior would be lifted from these people. Thank you.

What you describe is very real, and Scripture confirms that there is a spiritual battle behind the chaos you are seeing. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Romans 12:18 Your willingness to pursue peace is Christlike, and we pray God will give you great wisdom, discernment, and protection as you attempt to reconcile with some of them this weekend. We encourage you to not go alone, to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believers in your local church, and to set clear and safe boundaries. Reconciliation does not mean exposing yourself to further harm, and the Lord calls us to be both merciful and wise.

Your long and heavy trial has been heard, and your desire for prayer is taken up with sincere compassion. To be harassed for years by many people, and to see in their chaotic and senseless actions something that harms themselves more than it harms you, is a sore affliction. You are right to discern that behind such confusion there is a spiritual power at work, for our struggle is not only against flesh and blood.
Be encouraged that deliverance is of the Lord. He alone brings forth His people, and deliverance from sin and from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there also we must look for sanctification and for rescue from every evil influence, for it is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom. His own Son has borne the penalty, and when God Himself proclaims, I have found a ransom, then deliverance is certain, for it is already accomplished in Christ. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and He is able to deliver you still.
You speak also of seeking reconciliation this weekend, and this is a tender and weighty purpose. He is the God of Peace and He has on His part prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation through Jesus Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. As one who wrestled at the brook Jabbok and feared to meet his brother Esau, yet found that God had turned the heart of his brother so that he fell upon his neck and kissed him, so the Lord can move in the hearts of those who have opposed you. We pray that He will do so according to His wisdom and mercy.
We will pray for you earnestly. We ask the Lord to lift that demonic influence from those who have harassed you, to restrain all chaotic and harmful behavior, to surround you with His protection and with peace within your borders, and to give you wisdom, calmness, and safety as you seek to speak with some of them. Thank you for entrusting this heavy burden to prayer. To endure harassment for years from a large group of people, and to see behavior that is chaotic and senseless and destructive even to those doing it, is a great affliction. You are right to discern that such confusion and malice has a spiritual root behind it, for the enemy works to steal shame and reason and to make mouths and actions into instruments of harm.
Your desire to seek reconciliation this weekend is Christlike. Scripture says God has put in us the word of reconciliation, and that Christ Himself became our High Priest to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. He suffered reproach for us and brings us to God through His blood alone, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. That same mercy is what He calls us to extend to others, even while we stand firm against the evil that drives them.
We are praying for you earnestly, and we pray that you will continue to use the gift of prayer that God has given, not as a mere formality but as real pleading before Him who longs to save.
We pray together now: Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for Your protection over this dear one who has suffered long. Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you have been enduring. What you describe, a large group acting in a chaotic and senseless way that harms themselves more than you, is something Scripture helps us understand. The Bible shows that evil spirits can influence minds and mouths, and that much destructive and irrational behavior cannot be explained on a merely human level. Those spirits are real, intelligent beings, and they will one day be confined, which is why when Jesus confronted them they cried out and begged not to be sent to that place of confinement before their time. They know His authority and they know their time is limited.
It is important to remember that the power at work in you is greater than any power at work in the world. Jesus has complete authority over every demonic force, and He has shown His power to deliver people who were completely out of control and could not be restrained by human means. There are many accounts even in our own generation of severe demonic oppression where God brought complete deliverance, and they remind us of the promise that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
In the midst of ongoing harassment, God invites you to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where He is your fortress and your protection. He promises to deliver from the snare of the trapper and to cover you as with wings. His truth is to be your shield. When Jesus was attacked by Satan He answered with the truth of the Word of God, and that same Word is your defense now. God is able to make a way where there seems to be no way, and to bring deliverance that leads to praise, as He did for Israel when there was no human way forward.
You mentioned a desire to pursue reconciliation, and that desire itself reflects the heart of God. Reconciliation is provided only through Jesus Christ, who though He knew no sin was made sin for us so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. That is the grace on which all true reconciliation rests. We are then called to live in the Spirit, denying self and taking up the cross to follow Him. At the same time Scripture asks what fellowship light has with darkness and what harmony Christ has with evil, which means that seeking peace does not mean opening yourself without wisdom or pretending that wrong is right. Jesus said to watch and to keep your garments, to remain spiritually awake and pure as you wait for His return, which will come as a thief. So as you seek to be reconciled, do so with prayer, with clear boundaries, with honesty, and with a firm walk in fellowship with the Lord.
I am praying for you, that God will surround you with His presence and protection, that He will guard your mind and heart with His truth, that any demonic influence at work in those who have harassed you would be lifted and that they would be brought to clarity and to repentance, that the Lord would give you wisdom and safety as you reach out toward reconciliation, and that He would make a way for peace where it seems impossible. At the same time Scripture asks what fellowship light has with darkness and what harmony Christ has with evil, which means that seeking peace does not mean opening yourself without wisdom or pretending that wrong is right. Jesus said to watch and to keep your garments, to remain spiritually awake and pure as you wait for His return, which will come as a thief. So as you seek to be reconciled, do so with prayer, with clear boundaries, with honesty, and with a firm walk in fellowship with the Lord.
I am praying for you, that God will surround you with His presence and protection, that He will guard your mind and heart with His truth, that any demonic influence at work in those who have harassed you would be lifted and that they would be brought to clarity and to repentance, that the Lord would give you wisdom and safety as you reach out toward reconciliation, and that He would make a way for peace where it seems impossible. May He answer your prayers, keep you from shame and fear, and show you His salvation and His power to deliver.
Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the harassment you have endured for years from this very large group of people and the demonic influence you described.
We have been lifting you up and we have been praying that the Lord would rebuke the demonic influence at work, that the chaotic and nonsensical behavior you described would be lifted from these people, and that God would protect you and grant you His peace. We know for ourselves that our struggle is not against flesh and blood as Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, and we have asked God to open their eyes to see that what they are doing is only harming themselves in the long run and to bring deliverance and conviction to them.
We remember you shared that you were hoping to try to reconcile with at least some of them this past weekend and we have been praying specifically for that time, that God would prepare their hearts, remove the confusion and chaos, and give you wisdom and words and safety as you sought peace with them as Romans 12:18 encourages us to do.
