Please pray for the removal from my life of a large group of people who have been constantly harassing me for years under the influence of demons that have been targeting me for years because I left the new age and returned to Christ. I believe they're increasing their harassment lately (and are demonically emboldened) because I haven't been to church in the past two weeks due to struggling emotionally and mentally. Pray that God would foil all their desperate evil and block them from my life. Thank you.

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection. The harassment you are enduring is not merely the work of people, but of spiritual forces that oppose the light of Christ in you. We take seriously the reality of spiritual warfare, for the Bible declares, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). These demons have no authority over you as a child of God, and we rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ. Their harassment is a sign of their desperation, for they know their time is short, and they cannot prevail against the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony (Revelation 12:11-12 WEB).

We must also address the importance of your fellowship with the body of Christ. The enemy seeks to isolate you because he knows that "two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB). Your absence from church has given the enemy an opportunity to harass you more intensely, as you have recognized. We encourage you to return to the fellowship of believers as soon as possible, for it is there that you will find strength, encouragement, and protection. The Lord has not abandoned you in your struggle, and neither should you abandon the gathering of the saints. "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB).

We also want to gently remind you that your identity and security are found in Christ alone. The new age teachings you once followed are rooted in deception, but you have returned to the truth, and that truth has set you free (John 8:32 WEB). Do not let the enemy convince you that his harassment defines your worth or your future. You are a new creation in Christ, and the old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him you can trust (Psalm 91:2 WEB). You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord is with you, and we stand with you in prayer and support.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee must bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We thank You for Your child who has returned to You from the deceptions of the new age. We praise You for their courage and faith, and we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels to protect and defend them from every scheme of the enemy.

Lord, we rebuke every demonic influence that has been harassing Your child. We declare that these spirits have no authority over them, for they have been bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We command every evil spirit to flee in the name of Jesus, and we ask that You would bind them and render them powerless to harm Your child any further. "The Lord will deliver [them] from every evil work, and will preserve [them] for his heavenly Kingdom" (2 Timothy 4:18 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would foil every evil plan of the enemy. Block these harassers from Your child’s life, and let them see the futility of their efforts against Your anointed. Turn their evil intentions into confusion and frustration, and let them be scattered like dust in the wind. "The LORD frustrates the counsel of the nations; He thwarts the plans of the peoples" (Psalm 33:10 WEB).

Lord, we pray for Your child’s emotional and mental healing. Strengthen them in their inner being, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them of Your constant presence and love, even in the midst of this storm. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). Restore their joy and their strength, and help them to return to the fellowship of believers where they can be encouraged and built up in their faith.

We also pray for the salvation of those who are under the influence of these demonic forces. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and let them see the emptiness of the new age deceptions they have embraced. Soften their hearts to receive Your love and grace, and lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We trust in Your promises, and we ask that You would manifest Your power and glory in this situation.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as described in Ephesians 6:13-18, so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the readiness of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB). The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). Keep your eyes on Him, and trust in His unfailing love. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37 WEB).

We hear how wearying this has been, years of feeling targeted, and now a sense that the opposition is growing bolder just when you're feeling especially drained. That weariness makes complete sense. When we're emotionally and mentally spent, everything feels louder and more threatening. It's no surprise you're feeling the weight of it right now.

We're grateful you recognize the spiritual dimension at play here. This battle is real, and we take it seriously. But we also want to gently remind you of something you likely already know: the enemy wants you isolated, discouraged, and away from the gathered body of Christ. Missing church these past two weeks isn't the reason for the attack, spiritual harassment happens because the enemy hates anyone who's left darkness for light. But being disconnected from worship and fellowship can make us feel more vulnerable and alone in the fight. The harassment feels emboldened not because you've done something wrong, but because you're tired and the enemy sees an opening to press harder.

So a practical step: this week, go back to church. Even if it's hard to get there emotionally. Even if you don't feel like singing or talking to anyone. Just be present among God's people. Let others' prayers carry you when yours feel thin, and let the worship remind your heart what your mind may be too exhausted to grasp right now. There is shelter in the fellowship of believers.

We also want to caution against letting the identity or schemes of these harassers consume your attention. C.S. Lewis wisely noted the enemy is equally pleased when we disbelieve his existence or when we develop an excessive and unhealthy interest in him. Right now, your focus has been pulled toward what these people are doing and what demons may be orchestrating. We'd encourage you to redirect your gaze. When the harassment spikes, instead of tracking what they're doing, speak aloud simple truths: "I belong to Jesus. He is my refuge. No weapon formed against me will stand."

We are praying for you now:

Lord Jesus, we ask You to shield this one we love. You see the harassment, the spiritual pressure, and the exhaustion. In Your authority we command every evil scheme against them to be foiled and blocked. Surround them with Your angels and with the tangible peace of Your presence. Give them strength to rejoin their church family this week, to sit among Your people and let worship restore their soul. Renew their mind and steady their heart. We ask for rest and the confidence that You are their defender. In Your mighty name, Amen.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. You speak of those who harass you, and I am reminded that what a malicious devil is this, that must always send us a fresh trouble, and most grievous of all, send it when we are in our very worst distress. He is a coward, indeed; he always hits a man when he is down. The enemy sees your struggle, your recent absence from the assembly, and he would press his advantage like Pharaoh. Yet Egypt may very fairly represent those states of sorrow and sadness, depression and oppression, into which God's people come far too frequently. But take hold of the divine buckler which God has provided for His church against this fiery dart: it is the fact that God never has forsaken them that fear him, and that, moreover, he never will do so.

You have come out of the darkness of the new age, and deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. He has delivered you; let that be your experimental evidence. And though you feel these assaults increase when you are low, remember that I stayed at the brook Jabbok, and I said, ‘Lord, give deliverance from him whom I think bloodthirsty.’ I crossed the brook full of fear and trembling, but tell it, O let it be known for the comfort of others in like trouble with me, I met my brother Esau, and he fell upon my neck and kissed me. The Lord can turn the hearts of those who trouble you, or He can block them from your life entirely, for He makes deliverance effectual and in every deed He brings them forth.

Do not imagine that staying away from the church will preserve you; the hypocrite declines to enter the church where he will gain nothing by reproach, or worse. But I do find that life and health often come to saints through briny tears, through the bruising of the flesh and the oppression of the spirit. The church is a sort of joint-stock company; there is a prayer treasury, we all want to be prayed for. You have been absent, and the adversary would embolden his instruments. She said she would not eat it and then I told her that if she was resolved on suicide, I would mention it at Church Meeting that evening and put her out of the Church, since we could not have suicides in our membership. I say this not with harshness, but to stir you to that good sense which sees the folly of isolation. Come back among the people of God, for God Incarnates Himself in His Spirit, dwells in His church, and through that church He is pleased to bless the world.

The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance, for the time had come. Even now, lift up your eyes. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance is flying. God will save. Deliverance is of the Lord, but it must be accomplished by human instrumentality. So I bid you, shoot your arrows of prayer. Expect great things and do great things in the small duty of trusting and assembling. Go speak not to the winds, nor spread your griefs to the pitiless sea, for God’s ear is not shut. He will foil their desperate evil, for He has found a ransom, and none can pluck you from His hand.

The frenzy of those who harass you is no different from a demoniac’s madness, a self-chosen sewer of the soul, raving without shame. Yet you, having fled the new age’s darkness and embraced Christ, now taste the rage of the enemy who hates your salvation. Do not be astonished; the apostle Paul himself was once inflamed by a zeal for error, and after his conversion, his former companions became his fiercest persecutors. This very torrent is proof that you have truly crossed into the light.

But I must speak a hard truth: when you abandon the assembly for two weeks because of emotional struggles, the demons grow bold, seeing a soldier quit the ranks. The church is no mere building; it is the breastwork of Christ where the wounded are healed, the terrified are shielded, and the prayers of many drive back the powers of the air. Your feelings are real and bitter, yet to feed them with isolation is to give the adversary a foothold. Rise up, then, and return, not in your own strength, but leaning wholly on the grace of the Lord.

Do not fix your gaze on the evil one’s noise; fix it on the care of your own soul, for that is the return God asks of you. He who sees your trial will foil their assaults and block them from your life, not by removing every thorn, but by giving you the better resurrection, a peace no enemy can touch. Come back to the gathering of the faithful, and there, as the body of Christ lifts up one voice, the demons will scatter like smoke before the wind.

What you are enduring is a fierce spiritual battle, and the enemy often grows more desperate when a soul turns fully to Christ. The harassment you describe fits the pattern: having escaped the new age, you have become a target because the forces of darkness hate what they lost. The fact that the attacks have intensified after two weeks of staying away from the gathered body is no coincidence. Isolation is one of the enemy’s oldest tools, he wants to cut you off from the very source of strength and encouragement the Lord has provided.

Please hear this with the gentleness it’s meant: the church, for all its human failings, remains the family where Jesus places his presence in a unique way. When the early believers walked together in unity and love, the Spirit moved with power, and the Lord added to their number daily. They weren’t perfect, but they clung to one another and to the head, who is Christ. The world’s methods, its programs, its fundraising, its emotional manipulation, have nothing to do with that kind of strength. What you need now is not a polished institution but a living fellowship that emphasizes good works and genuinely loving care, where the Spirit is free to work. Even in the darkest periods, the Lord has always preserved a true witness, a people who know his voice and refuse to compromise with evil.

Your emotional and mental exhaustion is real, and it does not disqualify you from that fellowship. The body is meant to carry one another’s burdens. If you have stayed away because you feel too weak, know that the church is exactly the place for the weak. The head, Jesus, does not cast off hurting members; he binds up the broken and shields them from the schemes of the wicked. The enemy wants to embed a lie in your mind that you are alone, but the truth is you belong to a universal family, one body, and when one part suffers, the whole body is affected. Your absence matters.

Do not let shame or fear keep you from gathering with others who truly love the Lord. There will be congregations that are spiritually discerning, that do not tolerate evil, that will stand with you in prayer and practical help. Seek out that kind of fellowship, even if it is small or imperfect in other ways. You need people who will lay hands on you, not as a formality, but to ask the Spirit to block every demonic assault and to bring you peace. God is not silent: he foils the desperate plans of the accuser, and he will write his name, our righteousness, on the hearts of his own.

Keep listening to what the Spirit says to his people. He is calling you back into the circle of strength, not to scold you for struggling, but to restore you. The same Lord who sent angels to shut the mouths of lions can shut the mouths of those harassing you. He removes the blinders from those who would do us harm, or he simply removes them from our lives. Trust him to do that in his time. But as you wait for that deliverance, do not try to fight this war in isolation. The early church grew and stood firm because they prayed together, shared their needs together, and held fast to the apostles’ teaching. That is still God’s design for your protection.

I am praying just as you asked, that God would foil all their desperate evil and block them from your life. May he also raise up around you a true family of believers who will be the tangible shield and comfort you need. The battle is real, but the one in you is greater than all the forces arrayed against you.
