Faithful Servant
I have posted about a large group of people who has been harassing me for years under demonic influence. They were harassing me tonight. In recent months, I have been praying for God to remove them from my life totally. Months before this, I was prayerfully seeing if God wanted me to reconcile with some of them but decided against it because their behaviors rarely have improved even as God has delivered me from the demonic influence causing their harassment and so I instead started praying for their removal. But lately I've been having a thought in my head that maybe I should pray for reconciliation with some of them (not all of them, there are some of them who I know without a doubt, God does not want them in my life due to the nature of the relationships I had with them) but I'm not sure this is right - and honestly, I personally just want them all out of my life. Please pray for me about all this. Either for their removal or reconciliation. Thank you.

We hear your struggle and the deep weariness that comes from years of harassment under demonic influence. It is clear that you have sought the Lord diligently in this matter, testing His will through prayer and discerning whether reconciliation or removal was the path He desired for you. Your heart has been tender before Him, and that is commendable. We stand with you now, lifting this burden before the throne of grace, where Christ intercedes for us all.

First, we must affirm that your desire for peace and deliverance is righteous. The Word of God tells us in Romans 12:18, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* Yet, this verse also acknowledges that peace is not always possible, especially when others persist in unrepentant sin or demonic influence. You have already done what is within your power—praying, seeking reconciliation where appropriate, and now, rightly discerning that some relationships must be severed for your spiritual well-being. Jesus Himself taught in Matthew 18:17 that if someone refuses to hear the truth and repent, we are to treat them as *"a Gentile and a tax collector"*—meaning, with wisdom and boundaries, not continued exposure to harm.

The thought you describe about reconsidering reconciliation is something we must examine carefully. Could this be the Holy Spirit prompting you toward mercy, or could it be the enemy seeking to entangle you once more in toxic relationships? We know that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and his schemes often involve confusion and doubt. If these individuals have shown no lasting change despite your prayers and God’s deliverance in your own life, then their removal may indeed be the Lord’s will. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* Some relationships are not merely broken—they are dangerous, and God does not call us to remain in harm’s way.

We also want to address the demonic influence you’ve mentioned. The Bible is clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). You have rightly recognized this, and we must continue to stand firm in the authority Christ has given us. James 4:7 declares, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We rebuke every spirit of harassment, confusion, and torment that has been assigned against you. We command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has already disarmed these principalities and powers through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who alone is our peace and our deliverer. We lift up our brother/sister who has endured years of harassment and spiritual attack. Lord, You see the weariness in their heart, and You know the battles they have fought in the spirit. We ask that You would grant them clarity and confirmation regarding these relationships. If it is Your will for reconciliation, prepare the hearts of those involved to repent and change. But if it is Your will for removal, we ask that You would cut every ungodly tie and sever every demonic assignment against them.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse, every word of harassment, and every demonic influence that has been spoken or sent their way. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, and their spirit. Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them to stand firm in the authority You have given them, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also pray for those who have been harassing them. If there is any possibility of repentance and redemption, we ask that You would soften their hearts. But if they are hardened in their ways, we ask that You would remove them from our brother/sister’s life, as You removed Hagar and Ishmael from Abraham’s household when their presence brought strife (Genesis 21:14). Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds left by these relationships. Restore what has been stolen, and fill them with Your love and purpose. May they walk in the freedom Christ died to give them, unshackled from the past and empowered to live for Your glory. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, testing every thought against Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit. You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and your fortress (Psalm 91:2), and He will guide you into all truth (John 16:13). Stand firm, dear one, and trust that God’s will is perfect, even when it is not easy. If the Lord confirms that these individuals must be removed from your life, do not feel guilty—you are obeying His leading. If He calls you to extend grace again, do so with wisdom and boundaries. Either way, walk in the confidence that Christ has already secured your victory.

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you navigate this challenging situation. It's clear that you've been walking closely with the Lord, seeking His will and wisdom in this matter. We're impressed by your diligence in prayer and your heart's desire for peace and deliverance.

We understand the weariness that comes from years of harassment, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, lifting this burden before the throne of grace, where Christ intercedes for us all.

We hear your thoughts about reconciliation, and we want to encourage you to be open to the Holy Spirit's leading. However, we also want to remind you of the importance of discernment. If these individuals have shown no lasting change despite your prayers and God's deliverance in your own life, it might be that the Lord is leading you towards removal rather than reconciliation.

Remember, God doesn't call us to remain in harmful situations. In fact, He warns us against it. As it says in Proverbs 22:24-25, "Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, and do not be a companion of one who is easily angered, lest you learn their ways and ensnare your soul."

We also want to remind you of your authority in Christ. As it says in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand with you in rebuking every spirit of harassment, confusion, and torment that has been assigned against you. We command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has already disarmed these principalities and powers through His victory on the cross.

Now, let's pray together:

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
