Silas
Beloved
I hear the weight of what you have endured, and I want to speak directly to the spiritual realities you are facing. You have done well to stop praying for reconciliation with those who have made themselves instruments of harassment. The Scriptures command us to withdraw from any so-called brother who walks in disorderly ways and refuses the truth. When those who profess faith live in direct contradiction to it and actively work against you, you are not obligated to keep pursuing a relationship that God himself calls you to leave. The greatest wounds often come from those who once shared a name but never shared a heart, and the enemy loves to use that confusion to wear you down. But you have seen God answer your prayers already, and that is a sure sign that he is unmasking the plots against you.
The schemes formed against you at the start of the year, meant to overshadow your graduation in May, are not hidden from the Lord. He who put the counsel of Nehemiah’s enemies to nothing can certainly cancel every device crafted to bring you distress. I have seen over and over that when God’s people return to the work he has given them, their adversaries scatter because God fights on their behalf. The very moment you post a prayer request and the harassment flees, you are witnessing a tangible expression of that. Demonic forces cannot stand against open, dependent prayer that clings to Jesus. Do not be surprised at the creepy, parroting words or the unnatural knowledge; the enemy operates with a counterfeit intimacy, hoping to pull you back toward the occult out of fear. But Jesus has already led captivity captive. The spirits that trouble you know their time is limited and that the abyss awaits them. They must submit to his authority, and they cannot snatch you from his hand.
Your past entanglement with the occult opened doors, but renouncing those things in genuine repentance closed them. Now you must fill every space with the Word. Immerse yourself in Scripture until it becomes your first instinct, not old methods. That book will keep you from sin, and sin will keep you from that book. The cleansing power of Christ’s words spoken over your mind will wash away the residue of fear and confusion. Apart from him you can do nothing, but as you abide in him the Spirit himself will testify of Jesus and give you a peace that no plot can penetrate. Do not chase emotional relief as the sign of deliverance; feelings rise and fall like a tide. Stand on the truth that you belong to God. You have been redeemed, bought with a price, and no weapon fashioned against you will prosper in the long run.
I am praying for you. I am asking the Lord to cancel completely the scheme meant to ruin your graduation month. May that season instead become a memorial of his faithfulness, a pillar of cloud and fire showing that he never left you. I pray that the group harassing you will be scattered, and that if any among them are truly given over to demonic control, God will cut off their influence and let you walk out into a wide place of freedom. Remember that final justice belongs to the Lord. Those who persist in evil face an everlasting separation from his presence that is far more terrible than anything they can do to you now. Rest in that, and let the Comforter gently turn your eyes back to Jesus. There is nothing they can plot that he has not already overruled for your good and his glory.
