Harassment and anxiety

Your request has been heard and brought before the Lord with care, and we join you in prayer for you and your son in this time of distress and anxiety.

We pray that God, who sees all things in truth, will grant wisdom and discernment to those in authority, that what is true will be made clear and what is false will not prevail. We ask the Lord to cover you and your son with His grace and favor, to be your defender and your peace, and to send His help to you, for He gives His angels charge over those who trust in Him. May He surround your home with protection and let no harm come near your dwelling.

We pray also for kindness to be shown to you, that the hearts of those around you would be softened, and that you may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, which is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth through Jesus Christ alone. Where there has been strife and accusation, we pray for the peace that Christ gives, for He said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. This peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy, and where it is present, even trials cannot overturn the soul.

We bring before God your studies, asking that He would give you clarity of mind, strength to persevere, and success in your college classes this fall. We ask for His provision over your finances, that your personal injury check would come in a timely way according to His will, and for favor with your apartment management, that your home would be secure and you would not be in danger of losing it. We ask the Lord to provide for all your daily needs as a faithful Father who knows what you need before you ask.

We also pray that the personal attacks from your family would cease, and that the Lord would bring an end to this turmoil. If it is possible, may there be reconciliation in truth, but above all may you be granted space to live again in peace and to rest without fear. Remember that even pruning, though painful, is done by the Husbandman so that the branch that bears fruit may bear more fruit, and that God can use even these difficult days to make you stronger and to draw you closer to Himself.

May the Lord guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, keep you and your son in health and safety, and establish you in His love. We continue to pray for your deliverance, your peace, and your provision, trusting that God hears the prayers of those who call upon Him in truth.

Your heart in this difficult season has been heard, and I am praying for you and your son with care and compassion.

First, I want to remind you of the foundation for every other prayer for grace and favor. God has made one provision for the forgiveness of sin and the removal of guilt, and that is through His only Son Jesus Christ. There is no other way in this life or the life to come. The Holy Spirit bears witness to that truth in our hearts, assuring us that when we trust in Jesus, we are forgiven and brought into God's family. If you have put your faith in Christ, you can rest in that assurance even when everything around you feels unstable. If you have not yet done so, that is the first and most important step toward true peace and deliverance.

What you are experiencing with your family is painful, and Scripture shows that Jesus Himself knew this kind of pain. He was not honored among His own people and even among His own family. At one point His own brothers did not believe in Him and thought He had lost His senses. When you choose to follow the Lord and when you must set boundaries for the health and safety of yourself and your child, it can create a deep alienation with blood family. That does not mean you have failed. Many who walk with Christ find that the bond with the family of God becomes in some ways deeper and closer than the bond with those who are related by blood but do not walk in the same faith. God sees this hurt and He understands it fully.

God also describes His family as a beautiful provision. He places older men and women in our lives to be like fathers and mothers, and those near our own age to be like brothers and sisters, with purity and care. My prayer is that the Lord will surround you and your son with that kind of family, true spiritual helpers, people who will be kind, who will speak truth, who will support and encourage you. You asked for kinder people to come your way, and I am asking God to answer that by bringing trustworthy, gentle, godly people into your daily life.

I am praying specifically for the situation with the police welfare check. I am asking God that the truth would be clearly seen, that those in authority would act with wisdom and discernment, and that you and your son would be protected and treated with fairness and respect. I am also praying for deliverance from ongoing harassment and personal attacks, that God would bring an end to them and give you space to live in peace. The Lord is able to make a way where there seems to be no way, and He leaves room for His own work even when circumstances feel closed in.

For your practical needs, I am lifting each one before the Lord. I am praying that He will give you clarity, strength, and success in your college classes this fall, that He will provide for you and protect you, that your personal injury provision would come at the right time according to His care for you, and that He would grant you favor with your apartment management and keep your home secure. God knows your need for a stable place for you and your son, and He is faithful to provide for His children.

May the Lord give you peace that quiets anxiety, grace that sustains you each day, and the assurance that His favor rests on you as you trust in Christ. May He guard your home, guide your steps, and let you experience the comfort of belonging to His family while He brings healing to the pain caused by your own.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you and your son before the Lord and we remember your request about the harassment and anxiety you are facing. We have been praying that the police would see the truth clearly during the welfare check and that God would give you favor and protect your testimony against the false accusations from your family. We have asked God to surround you and your son with His grace and favor, to send deliverance and spiritual helpers to stand with you, and to cause those around you to show you kindness.

We are also praying for your peace, that the personal attacks from your family would cease so that you can live again in the rest and peace God promises. The Lord reminds us in Philippians 4:7 that His peace will guard our hearts and minds, and in Psalm 34:17 that He hears the righteous and delivers them out of all their troubles.

We continue to bring your practical needs before Him as well. We pray for divine favor with your apartment management and for security in your home with no danger of losing it, for protection and provision over you and your son as Psalm 91:1 promises, for success and focus in your college classes this fall, and for your personal injury check to come in before the end of the month according to His provision in Philippians 4:19. We pray for His covering and grace to remain over you both.

We pray together that God will answer these requests for deliverance, provision, and peace in Jesus Name.
