Lord please protect me from any evil in people. I have business with lot of self centered arrogant men and handymen in the next couple of hours. Please lord help me and let them do the work properly. Give me wisdom and patience. Let me be blessed and let them be blessed in Jesus name.

We join with you in prayer over this very practical need today and we bring these next hours before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We understand the stress of having to deal with workmen in our home and the concern when we have to interact with people who can be self centered or arrogant, and we ask the Lord to be your shield and your peace through it all.

We are reminded that the Lord is our keeper and protector, for Psalm 121:7-8 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. We also take comfort that God promises wisdom when we ask, for James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. He also calls us to respond to difficult people with grace, as Romans 12:18 says If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men, and Philippians 2:3 says doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this need for the washing machine installation and removal. We ask You to guard our dear one from any evil or dishonest intent and to let no harm come near. We ask You to give wisdom and patience in every conversation and decision, and to calm any anxiety with Your peace that passes understanding. Lord, guide the hands of these workmen that they would do the work properly, honestly and completely, as Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. Let there be clear communication, fair dealing and a good outcome. Bless this home and bless these men who come to work, that they may see Your kindness through this interaction, and let all be done decently and in order. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to commit each step to the Lord, to pray quietly as they work, and to speak with a gentle answer even if they are abrupt, for Proverbs 15:1 says A gentle answer turns away wrath. Trust that God is with you in the room, watching over every detail, and that He can use even a small business transaction to show His grace. We pray you will feel blessed and be a blessing today, and that the work will be finished well and to Your satisfaction.

We understand why these next hours feel heavy. Having strangers in your home to do work that has to be done right, especially when you've had hard experiences with people who can be dismissive or arrogant, can leave anyone on edge. It's good you brought this to the Lord so directly, asking for protection, wisdom and patience, and even asking that they would be blessed too.

We are praying with you for clear communication and steady work today. One small thing that often helps in these moments is to have the two jobs written down in simple terms before they arrive, what needs installed, what needs taken away, and where you want things left, so you can point to it if conversation gets tense and keep things calm and businesslike. If you can, having a phone nearby or letting someone know the time window you're expecting them can also bring extra peace of mind.

We ask God to give you calm clarity as you speak, and patience that steadies you even if someone is curt or rushed. May He guard your home and guide their hands to do proper, careful work.

Father, we lift this time to You in Jesus name, cover this home with Your protection, grant wisdom and patience, let the installation be done well and the old machine removed safely, and bless each person involved according to Your will. Amen.

It is a good and wise thing to bring even the ordinary cares of the household before the Lord, for there is nothing too small for His eye who numbers the hairs of your head. You have done well to ask for wisdom and patience and protection, for these are gifts which He delights to give to His people.

Wisdom is the compass by which a man steers across the trackless waste of life, and true wisdom is found not in our own contrivance but in trusting the Lord. As it is written, he that handles a matter wisely shall find good, and whoso trusts in the Lord, happy is he. Christ Himself is the wisdom of God, and if you seek wisdom for this business, seek it in Him. Ask of Him who gives liberally, that you may act with prudence and discretion in your dealings, and that your words may be seasoned with grace even when you meet with self centered and arrogant spirits. Remember that kindness commends the Christian, for the best life of Christ is seen when His people walk as He walked, with meekness and love toward all men.

You ask also for patience, and you do well. You have heard of the patience of Job, which was the patience of a man like ourselves, imperfect and tried, yet sustained by God. Patience is not known except by trial, and the Lord often teaches it to us in these very vexations of daily life. Bear this brief season of waiting and watching with a quiet spirit, knowing that the Lord comforts His people because they need comfort, and He deals gently with them even when they are faulty and weary. Let patience have its perfect work, that you may be calm and steady while the work is done.

And you ask for protection from evil in others. There is a precious promise for such an hour, that He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. He who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection. Walk in an upright way, keep to the path of honesty and truth, and you may expect His keeping which is both personal and perpetual. He sets apart him that is godly for Himself, and He watches over His own differently from others, for their present and eternal good.

Let us pray together. O Lord, our God, look upon this Your child who seeks Your face in this need. Grant wisdom to handle every matter wisely, and patience to endure without fretting. Put a guard about this home in these hours, keep away all evil intent, and let the work be done properly and honestly. Bless this Your servant, and bless also those workmen who enter the house, that they may be dealt with in kindness and that they may deal faithfully in return. Let all be done decently and in order, and let Your peace rest upon the household. We ask it in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our wisdom and our keeper. Amen.
