Hallelujah

We give thanks to God with you for this good news and join you in giving Him glory through Jesus Christ for opening the way for your classes to begin October ###, ###. It is right to praise Him as Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, for your acceptance into the Master's program in Human Services and for His provision for tuition and books through FASFA.

We hear your heart to serve Him by serving others, and we pray that He will establish you in this calling and help you walk worthily of it. The calling we have in Christ is a high one, not because of our own wisdom or strength, but because He has raised us up and set us to do good. Pray that He will fulfill in you every desire for goodness and every work of faith with power, so that your studies would not be only for knowledge, but for love that truly helps and heals others, and for patient endurance when hindrances come.

We also bring before the Lord your travel plans, asking for His protection and that nothing would hinder your studies, and we ask for His healing touch on your shoulder. We thank Him that the pain has lessened with BIOFREEZE, and we pray for wisdom as you seek a physical therapist after the holiday, that He would guide you to the right care and bring complete restoration.

Continue to stand on the Word of God as you have said. He who has begun a good work will be faithful to complete it. May He grant you strength, focus, and joy in these months of preparation and in the work ahead.

We thank you for letting us pray with you. May the Lord bless your learning, guard your health, and keep you in His grace through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Rejoicing with you in God's provision through Jesus Christ and giving thanks for this open door for your studies. It is good to see your heart to serve the Lord by serving others, and to give Him glory for making a way for tuition and books. The Lord who provides is faithful, and it is right to thank Him for every part of this.

As you step into this Master's program in Human Services, remember that whatever God calls you to be and to do is the highest calling for you. There is not one calling that is higher than all others. What matters is that you are what you are by the will of God and that you are faithful in the place He has put you. If He has placed this desire and opportunity before you to grow and to help others, walk in it faithfully and humbly, and trust Him to use it for His purposes. Scripture speaks of the hope of His calling and the riches of His grace that He has prepared for those who are His, and when that hope is clear before you it gives strength and courage to keep going.

You mentioned your shoulder and the relief you have found, and that you are waiting to be connected with a physical therapist. I will pray for complete healing for you. The Bible shows that Jesus healed in many different ways, sometimes with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes instantly and sometimes gradually. All healing is from God, and He often works through the natural processes He built into our bodies and through the skill of doctors and therapists. That kind of care is not less spiritual. It is one of the ways God brings restoration. At the same time we know that in this fallen world there is suffering and sickness that comes indirectly because sin is in the world, not always as a direct result of something we have done. Good people still experience pain and illness, and that does not mean God has caused it. Isaiah tells us that Christ has borne our sicknesses and infirmities, and He has power over every affliction. Whether healing comes in a moment or step by step, keep bringing your body to Him in prayer and follow through with the practical help He provides.

You also shared about your travel and your desire that nothing hinder your classes. Hindrances do come, and much of the heartache we experience comes when we try to go our own way instead of listening to the Lord. There is a hymn that says what needless pain we bear when we do not carry everything to God in prayer. Bring your studies, your travel, your health, and every detail before Him, listen for His guidance, and obey what He shows you. That is how we avoid much unnecessary pain and walk in His peace.

May the Lord establish your steps in this season, give you wisdom for your studies, provide for every need, and bring healing and strength to your shoulder. May He keep you close to Jesus, make you faithful in the work He has given you, and use you to show His love to others.
