just talked to my dear friend Dee Wilson and she specifically ask me to pray for her friends in Haiti. As many of you know Bruce and Dee have been to Haiti to help with relief twice now. Bruce has had plans to go back to Haiti this Thursday for months. He an four other doctors will leave out this Thursday. As many of you may know from watching the news Hurricane Tomas is moving in and they are expecting 5 – 10 inches of rain today. Bruce is going on to Haiti, because he believes in God’s plan for himself and his family! Please pray for his safe travels!
Tuesday night Dee received a message from her friend in Haiti, Shamma, that lives in a tent city. She sent him a message checking on him and making sure they were aware of the impending hurricane. He simply wrote back, “Mama Dee – We have two days to pray. God’s grace is enough.â€
As Dee said, if a Hurricane were heading straight for us and we were living in a tent, would we pray or panic?! You can see why their hearts are breaking if you just turn on the weather channel.
I am asking all of my friends who believe in the power of prayer to PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!! We are so blessed and take so much for granted. Remember the people of Haiti and those who are there trying to make a difference! Please remember Bruce Wilson and the other doctors who travel there this week. Pray that God will protect them, guide them and use them for His will.
