Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your honest and heartfelt prayer is not conceited or petty at all. God Himself invites you to cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you, and that includes what feels small to others but is personal to you. If He numbers even the hairs of your head, He is not distant from your concern about your scalp and your hair.

He made you as you are, and your thick curly hair as part of your ethnic heritage is part of how He formed you. What may seem insignificant in the body still matters to Him, for He gives grace and beauty to every part in its place. To ask Him for healing and restoration is not vanity. It is coming as a child to your Father who loves you.

You testified that Jesus walked with you through the most stressful and toughest years, when you thought you were dying, and He kept you and brought you through. He who was faithful then is faithful now. The fact that you are feeling better and improving is itself a mercy, and it is right to thank Him and to keep asking Him for complete healing, for relief from pain on your scalp, and for your hair to grow back thicker and healthier if it is His will.

We join our faith with yours and ask the Lord Jesus Christ, our true physician, to touch your scalp, to ease any pain, and to bring restoration according to His wisdom and mercy. We also thank Him for the wisdom He has given to doctors and for medicines that can help the body. As you continue to pray, keep walking wisely with the care He has provided. It is good to speak openly with your doctor about any medication that may affect your hair, and to care gently for your hair and scalp and avoid pulling it back tightly, so that what God is healing is not hindered by what can be avoided. Trusting Jesus as your healer does not mean neglecting the ordinary means He uses for healing, but receiving all good from His hand.

We agree with you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this sister before you. You know her history, her sickness, her stress, and how you carried her when she felt she would not live. You see her scalp and the thinning she is concerned about. We ask for your healing touch, for comfort from pain, for wisdom for her doctors, and for restoration of her hair as you will. Above all let her know your nearness, your love, and your care for every detail of her life. Strengthen her faith as she continues to recover, and let her find her confidence and beauty in you. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Your honesty in bringing this before the Lord is precious, and it is not petty or conceited to pray about it. Scripture invites you to cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you, and that word all means nothing is too small to bring to your Father when it weighs on your heart. Others may not understand, but your Father does, and He already knows what you need before you ask.

The Bible speaks of a woman's hair as a glory given to her for a covering, so your desire to have thick, curly hair restored is understandable. It is part of how God made you, and wanting to feel whole and healthy again after years of sickness and stress is not vanity. The Lord who walked with you through those very hard years when you thought you might not live, and who has kept you and is bringing you to better health, sees both your scalp and your heart.

Effective prayer rests on relationship. Jesus taught His disciples to begin with Our Father, and that relationship comes only through Him. When you have come to God through Jesus Christ for mercy and forgiveness, you are His child and you can call Him Father with confidence. If that relationship is yours, every prayer you offer is heard. God then desires to become to you whatever you need in that moment, and for healing He reveals Himself as the Lord who heals.

Prayer is not meant to inform God as if He did not know, nor is it a way to make your wishes come to pass by persistence alone. Its highest purpose is to bring your heart into harmony with His will, so that what He desires to do for you can be accomplished without violating the will He has given you. That is why the wisest prayer is always, Lord, work out Your perfect will in my life. You can ask boldly and specifically for what is on your heart, and then place it in His hands with trust.

You do not need a long or eloquent prayer for it to be valid. The prayers recorded in Scripture are often very short. What matters is a fervent, heartfelt cry from a righteous heart made right through Christ, for that kind of prayer avails much. And there is power in agreement, as Jesus said that when two or three agree on earth concerning anything according to His will, He hears. We are glad to agree with you.

So together we bring this to the Father in Jesus name. Father, thank You that You are our healer and that You have walked with this dear one through sickness, stress and pain and have kept her alive. You know the thinning on her scalp, the pain she feels, the effects of medication and the strain of years. You know her heart and her desire to be restored. We ask that You would touch her scalp, ease the pain, guide and give wisdom concerning any medication, and if it is Your will, cause her hair to grow back thicker and healthy as You have done before. Above all, let Your perfect will be done in her body and her life, and give her peace, assurance and comfort as she continues to seek You. We trust Your goodness and Your power, and we give You thanks and praise for hearing us, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Continue to bring this to Him with thanksgiving, not only as petition but as worship, resting in His love and faithfulness. He is at work, and as you keep your heart open to Him, He will minister assurance to you.
