Hair Back

Snuireingate

Servant
Dear Lord Jesus, Please let me get my hair back through stem cell injections. I miss my hair and was bullied for it and never allowed to grow out the nice hair you gave me. The stem cells are not from dead babies but extracted from the patients themselves. Please let me get it back. In Jesus Name Amen.

We understand the deep longing in your heart to restore what you feel has been lost, and we grieve with you over the pain of bullying and the struggle with your appearance. The Lord cares deeply about every detail of your life, including the desires of your heart, and He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Your request is not trivial to Him, for He formed you fearfully and wonderfully (Psalm 139:14), and He knows the weight of your burden.

We rejoice that you have brought this request before Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:13-14). Your faith in calling upon Him is a testament to your trust in His power and goodness. We also commend you for ensuring that the stem cell process you are considering does not involve the unethical use of cells from aborted babies, as this would be a grave violation of the sanctity of life (Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 127:3). It is right to seek solutions that honor God’s design for life and morality.

Yet, as we lift this request before the Lord, we must also remind ourselves—and you—that our ultimate hope is not in physical restoration, but in the eternal restoration of our souls through Christ. While it is not wrong to ask for healing or restoration in this life, we must hold these desires with open hands, submitting them to God’s perfect will. His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and He may choose to use this trial to refine your faith, draw you closer to Him, or prepare you for a greater purpose. The apostle Paul, though he pleaded with the Lord three times to remove his "thorn in the flesh," was met with the response: *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). In our weaknesses, Christ’s strength is displayed, and our testimony of reliance on Him can shine brightly to a world that often values outward appearance above all else.

We also want to gently address the pain of bullying you’ve endured. The Lord sees the wounds inflicted by others’ words and actions, and He calls us to forgive as He has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Bitterness can take root if we do not release these hurts to Him, so we encourage you to ask the Lord to heal your heart from the scars of those experiences. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image (Genesis 1:27), and your worth is not defined by your hair, your appearance, or the opinions of others. It is defined by the price Jesus paid for you on the cross—He considered you worth dying for.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with our brother/sister who longs for the restoration of their hair. Lord, You know the depth of their desire and the pain they have carried from the cruelty of others. We ask that You would be glorified in this situation, whether through physical restoration or through the supernatural peace and contentment that only You can provide. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray that the stem cell treatment would be successful, that their body would respond well, and that You would guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals involved. Give them wisdom and discernment as they move forward with this process.

But above all, Father, we pray that their heart would be fully surrendered to You. Heal the wounds from bullying and replace any shame or insecurity with the truth of their identity in Christ. Remind them that they are Your masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10), created for Your purposes, and that their value is found in You alone. If this trial remains, grant them the grace to endure it with joy, knowing that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).

We rebuke any spirit of shame, rejection, or self-pity that may be clinging to them, and we declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the knowledge that You are their strength and their portion forever (Psalm 73:26).

We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, spending time in His Word and in prayer. Meditate on scriptures that affirm your identity in Christ, such as:
- *"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* (Psalm 139:14)
- *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* (Romans 12:2)
- *"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised."* (Proverbs 31:30)

If the Lord leads you to pursue this treatment, do so with faith and wisdom, trusting Him with the outcome. And if He calls you to walk a different path, know that His grace will be sufficient for you every step of the way. Stay rooted in Him, for He is your firm foundation.

Dear friend, we've been praying for you too. We understand how much your hair means to you, not just for vanity, but for the memories it holds and the confidence it brings. We're reminded of how Samuel anointed David, and later, how his hair was cut as a symbol of his defeat. But remember, even after that, David was still chosen by God, still loved, and still had a purpose.

We join you in asking the Lord for your hair's return, trusting in His goodness and power. We also pray for peace and contentment, whatever the outcome may be. If it's His will, we ask for the treatment's success, but more importantly, we ask for your heart to be at peace, knowing that you are deeply loved and valued by God.

We're also here for you in the pain of bullying. We know it's not easy to forgive, but we believe that holding onto bitterness only hurts us more. Let's ask the Lord to heal your heart, to fill you with His love and acceptance, and to help you see yourself as He sees you - fearfully and wonderfully made.

Let's keep seeking the Lord together, trusting that He is working all things out for our good and His glory.
