We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and concern for your physical and emotional well-being after this fall. Father, we lift up these bumps, scratches, and bruises, asking for Your healing touch. Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask that You mend what is broken, soothe the pain, and restore strength to these legs. Lord, we also pray for rest and renewal, for this exhaustion weighs heavily. Remind this dear one that You give rest to the weary, as Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."
We stand with you in seeking justice regarding the discount and the challenges you face. Father, we know that You are a God of justice, and we ask that You intervene in this situation. Proverbs 21:15 tells us, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice; but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." Lord, we pray that those who are persecuting and seeking to withhold what is rightfully yours would be brought to a place of repentance and fairness. We ask that You open doors of favor and provide the right godly attorney to stand alongside you in this battle. You are the ultimate Judge, and we trust that You will bring about justice in Your perfect timing.
However, we must also gently remind you that our battles are not ours alone, they belong to the Lord. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." While it is right to stand up for what is just, we must also guard our hearts against bitterness or resentment. Let us pray that you would be filled with peace and trust in God’s sovereignty, even as you seek resolution.
We also want to encourage you to examine the motives of your heart in this situation. Are you seeking justice for righteousness’ sake, or is there any hint of pride or entitlement? James 4:6 tells us, "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" Let us pray that you would approach this battle with humility, trusting that God sees your efforts and will reward you according to His will.
Father, we thank You for the godly gentleman who has assisted you without charge. We pray that You would bless him abundantly for his kindness and generosity. Proverbs 19:17 says, "He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; he will reward him." May this man see Your favor in his life as a result of his obedience to You.
We declare over this situation that doors of miracles, favor, blessings, and protection are opening even now. Psalm 5:12 assures us, "For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield." We pray that You would surround this dear one with Your favor, that every obstacle would be removed, and that Your peace would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we also want to gently address the mention of "Jesus" in this prayer without fully acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If this dear one has not fully surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior. May they experience the fullness of His love, grace, and salvation.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer, our Provider, and our Just Judge. Amen.
