Guide my steps###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father in the name of Jesus Christ please guide my steps. I have been applying to various jobs cleaning, pet sitting, grocery stores, warehouses, office work. I don’t have transportation to really do side gigs like delivery. I’m really trying Lord, I had to leave my job due to relentless mobbing. I was given double the work of other colleagues which caused me to miss important processing deadlines. I was openly mocked and interrupted by management when I was giving presentations. I was called into meetings and berated in front of colleagues along with physical and verbal assaults. I maintained professionalism under pressure even though I wanted to break down and openly cry. So I resigned very quietly. Now it seems like opportunities are far reaching. Today I will try to do more research on finding help and try to reach out this week. Father in Jesus name I’m asking for your strength to keep me motivated to keep going. I’ve worked so hard and some days feel so discouraged. I know that we have to work in order to eat that’s why I stayed so long in the environment because I had no other options at the time. An aging parent was also dependent on me so I couldn’t leave the environment at the time. The parent has passed away and now I’m alone. No siblings, spouse or children. No trusted extended family members or any true friends. Health, housing and employment and finances are all heavy weights that are unbearable.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We lift you up before the Lord with deep compassion for the burdens you carry, and we praise God that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ in your plea for guidance. It is only through Him that we find true strength, provision, and direction, for Scripture declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). You have done well to seek Him first in this season of trial, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that He who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field will not abandon you (Matthew 6:26-33).

Your endurance through such cruel and unjust treatment at your former workplace is a testament to the dignity and professionalism you maintained by God’s grace. The Lord sees the affliction you suffered—the mockery, the unfair labor, the humiliation, and even the physical and verbal assaults. Such treatment is an abomination before Him, for Scripture warns, *"Don’t oppress the hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates"* (Deuteronomy 24:14, WEB). The Lord is just, and He will repay those who afflict His children (2 Thessalonians 1:6). Though you walked away quietly, your resignation was not a defeat but an act of wisdom to preserve your well-being. The Lord honors that.

Now, as you seek new employment, we urge you to lean entirely on Him. Your feelings of isolation—being without family, spouse, or close friends—are deeply felt, but remember that the Lord Himself is your ever-present help. *"I will not leave you nor forsake you"* (Joshua 1:5, WEB), He promises. In your loneliness, He is your Comforter (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). In your financial strain, He is Jehovah-Jireh, your Provider (Genesis 22:14). You are not truly alone, for you are *His*, and He has engraved you on the palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:16).

We also recognize the weight of grief you carry for your parent. Loss compounds the struggles of life, but we pray that even in this, you would find hope in the resurrection. Jesus said, *"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies"* (John 11:25, WEB). Your parent’s passing was not the end for them if they knew Christ, and it is not the end of God’s faithfulness to you. He will sustain you.

As for your job search, we pray for divine connections and open doors. The Lord can provide opportunities even in places you haven’t considered. Be diligent in your efforts, but also surrender the outcome to Him. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). If transportation is a barrier, ask the Lord to provide creative solutions—perhaps a job within walking distance, a carpool with a believer, or even a temporary provision like a bicycle or public transit pass. Nothing is too small for His attention.

We also encourage you to seek fellowship, even if it feels difficult. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Consider reaching out to a local church for support—many have benevolence programs for those in need, and some may even offer job networking assistance. If you’ve been wounded by the church in the past, we pray the Lord leads you to a body of believers who will reflect His love genuinely.

Lastly, we must address the heaviness of your heart. Discouragement and despair are real, but they are not your portion in Christ. The enemy would love for you to believe that your efforts are in vain, but the Lord says, *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). When you feel like giving up, cry out to Him. When the weight feels unbearable, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who has endured so much yet continues to seek You. Lord, You are the God who sees their affliction, their loneliness, their grief, and their need. We ask that You guide their steps as they seek employment—open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide not just a job, but a place of respect, fairness, and provision. If there are skills they need to acquire or resources they haven’t accessed, lead them to those opportunities. Father, we pray for supernatural favor in every application, every interview, and every connection.

Lord, we also ask that You surround them with Your peace. The enemy has tried to isolate them, but You are their ever-present help. Bring godly people into their life—those who will encourage, support, and walk with them in this season. Heal the wounds of rejection, mockery, and betrayal. Restore their joy and hope in You.

We rebuke every spirit of discouragement, fear, and despair in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, provide for their every need—health, housing, finances—according to Your riches in glory. Remind them daily that their worth is not in their productivity or circumstances, but in being Your beloved child.

Strengthen them, Lord, when they feel weak. Motivate them when they feel weary. Let them see Your hand moving on their behalf, even in small ways, so their faith may grow. And above all, draw them closer to You in this season. Let them know You as Provider, Comforter, and Father in ways they never have before.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who sympathizes with our weaknesses and intercedes for us even now. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in faith for your job search and life's challenges. We know it's tough, but remember, God sees you. He knows your struggles, your loneliness, and your grief. He's not surprised by any of it. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you today, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's got you, and He's working things out for your good.

We're praying for divine appointments, open doors, and favor in your job search. We're also asking God to connect you with a community of believers who can support and encourage you. You don't have to go through this alone.

And hey, keep your chin up! Romans 5:3-4 tells us, "We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation." You're building endurance and character through this. Keep trusting God, and remember, He's got this!
