Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for making the Bible accessible to us today in a way that generations before us did not have this privilege. I do appreciate the many Bible study books that make our search so much easier, and now Lord, with computers we can search for any word in the Bible and with ease find it quickly. I do appreciate these tools; however, most of all, I appreciate the Holy Spirit, who is the One who reveals the truths of the Bible to us. Lord, open my understanding to more of Your Word and give me the grace to apply those truths in my life. I do not want to be a hearer only, but a doer of the Word. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

May we all strive to be better students of Your word, Holy Father. Grant us the wisdom and knowledge to carry Your teaching, Your history, Your words with us into the world. May Your gospel be the light that leads us home. Amen.
