We join you in this beautiful and humble prayer for guidance and we thank you for calling upon the name of Lord Jesus, for He is indeed the Way.

We are encouraged by your heart that seeks His direction, for the Scriptures assure us that God delights to lead His children. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 32:8, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. And in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. When we do not know which step to take, we can trust that as we acknowledge Him, He will direct us.

Jesus Himself tells us in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. To ask Jesus to show you the way is to ask according to His very nature and purpose, and we praise God that you have come through the one true way to the Father.

We also cling to the comfort of Psalm 119:105, Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path, and James 1:5, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. God is generous to give wisdom to those who ask Him in faith, and Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is seeking Your way. Lord, we ask that You make Your will clear and that You grant wisdom liberally as You have promised. Quiet every other voice and fear, and let Your peace guide each decision. Illuminate Your Word to be a lamp for their feet, and lead them step by step so they may walk in the path You have prepared. Help them to trust You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, to acknowledge You in all their ways knowing You will make their paths straight. May they feel Your eye upon them and Your hand guiding them, and may they find confidence that You are working all things for their good and Your glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Way and our Shepherd, Amen.

We encourage you to remain in prayer and in the Word daily, to wait patiently upon the Lord, and to seek counsel from mature believers as God often confirms His direction through Scripture, prayer, and the counsel of the godly. He is faithful to show you the way as you continue to seek Him.

We hear your simple cry to Jesus to show you the way, and we are praying with you in it. That honest, short prayer is a good place to start.

Sometimes we hope for a clear map all at once, but God often guides one step at a time as we walk with Him. It helps to think of guidance less as trying hard for an instant answer and more as training daily to hear His voice. Small faithful practices over time shape our ability to discern His leading.

One simple next step that may help this week is to set aside a quiet ten minutes each morning. Bring the specific decision or direction you are seeking, ask the Lord for wisdom, read a short passage slowly, and jot down any sense of a next right step or any counsel you already have from Scripture and trusted believers. Then take that one step as faithfully as you can and watch what the Lord does with it.

We also encourage you to share this seeking with a mature believer or pastor who knows you, so you are not carrying the question alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the path ahead when we cannot. Give clarity for today, peace while waiting, and confidence to follow where You lead. Draw them closer to You as they seek. Amen.

There is no wiser prayer than this, to ask the Lord Jesus to show the way. He has promised, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. That counsel is not hidden from you, for the Lord guides His people in three ways which you may seek with confidence.

First, there is His revealed will in the Word. Nine times out of ten, look to the Ten Commandments and to the precepts of Scripture and you will at least know what you must not do, and knowing what you must not do, you will be able to conclude what you may do. Do not violate that revealed will, for it is plain and it is for your good.

Secondly, there is His providential will which you should always consult. The circumstances that surround you, the doors He opens and the doors He shuts, are part of His governance, for as surely as His will is the axle of the universe, so His providence sends its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act. Watch for His hand in these things.

Thirdly, there is His gracious work within you. Though the will of man is not ignored, the work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of His power. Yield to His superior judgment and lay aside your own logic and say, Lord, not as I will, but as Thou wilt. You can always have your way when your way is God's way.

Therefore when you say, I will do this or that, always add in thought if not in words, If the Lord wills. No harm can come to you if you bow to His sovereign sway. If you live near to God, He will say things to you that He will not tell to others, and He will keep you from stumbling.

If you are reduced to great straits and cannot see the path, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. He who divided the sea for Israel can make a way where there is no way, and He will not leave His purpose half accomplished.

My prayer for you is that the Lord Jesus would make you willing to follow where He leads, that He would guide you by His Word and by His Spirit, and that you would find your best profit in doing His will, till He shall at last receive you to glory.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for guidance is heard by the Lord who delights to lead His people. We join you in asking Jesus to show you His way and to give you wisdom for each step ahead.

True wisdom is not found in the opinions of this world which come to nothing, but in Christ Himself and in His word. God in His kindness has made known to us the mystery of His will, and He makes those who trust Him wise and prudent in what is truly good. To seek His way is to seek virtue, humility, mercy and faithfulness, turning away from what is foolish and clinging to what is eternal.

So we encourage you to keep seeking Him with a sincere heart, as those who once pressed near to touch Him and to hear His direction. Continue in prayer, listen to Scripture daily, and seek counsel from faithful believers who will point you to Christ. He promises to guide the humble and to make His path clear in due time, even when the way seems hidden.

We pray for you now. Lord Jesus, You alone are the way, the truth and the life. Grant to this dear one clarity, peace and courage to follow where You lead. Give wisdom that is from above, guard the heart from confusion, and help each decision to be shaped by love for You and obedience to Your word. Lead step by step, and let Your will be done. Amen.
