Disciple of Prayer
I am asking for prayer for Patience, Trust and Guidance.  This person I met and have asked prayers for is important to me and I continue to ask for prayer while I continue to pray for him as well.  We do not live near each other, there is a 2 hr drive between us, so we do not get to see each other.  We talk every day via text message and have recently had lengthy phone calls.  We also both have opposite work schedules that can make it difficult to talk as he sleeps during the day while I am work and vice versa, I am sleeping while he is at work.  I ask for prayer for patience and trust on my part, that I am able to give all my fear and doubt to God and that he can place peace on my heart that this is part of his plan for our life and that we will both be able to give up the fear we both have of being hurt due to past relationships and be able to trust each other fully.  When I first met him through a dating site I will admit it was inappropriate conversations and 1 day I felt compelled to ask if he was a believer, it took me 2 weeks to ask that question and since then our conversation and relationship so to speak has changed, no longer inappropriate.  There was a tragic event that happened in my life at the beginning of Oct and he was the person that God had put on my heart to call before I called anyone else, his name came into my mind before anyone else.  Up until that point anything between us was very superficial and inappropriate, I knew nothing about him on a personal level and we were not really friends yet, but again the feeling was so strong to contact him I texted him during an entire 4 hour drive and he stayed awake talking to me after working all night.  There is so much more I could list here that led up to the place that me and him are now, the changes that have taken place from the first contact until now but it would be a lot and God knows what has happened and after praying daily about it I feel all the things that have been taking place are his plan, I just want to make sure the devil is not misleading me.  I have prayed daily and would ask for additional guidance to know that he is part of God's plan in my life, I do feel it on my heart that God brought Steve into my life for a purpose and I feel that we are now building a strong friendship that is the foundation for a relationship going forward as is God's plan, to not rush into anything that may not be the right thing.  I ask for prayer for both of us, that we continue to build our friendship and relationship and that we both can have healing placed on our hearts and let go of all our fears give them over to God.  I ask for patience and trust and a sense of peace to be placed on my heart knowing that I am working towards Gods will and that it will all happen according to his will and that I do have the patience and trust to get through this test.  Thank you all.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
