Guidance and Protection
We hear the heaviness in your heart as you face these next phases and decisions where everything feels like a big question mark, and we join with you in seeking the Lord's guidance and protection together in Jesus' name.
We are encouraged that you want to trust Him with whatever the future holds and to give your worries to Him, for that is exactly what He calls us to do. Scripture reminds us to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. He does not leave us to wander alone, for He promises I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8. Even when the road ahead is unclear to us, it is never unclear to Him, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.
You asked that your worries would be His, and that is His invitation to you, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. We are also taught In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. And for your protection we cling to His promise Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.
We notice you spoke of the Lord, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can come boldly before His throne. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by trusting in Jesus and His finished work on the cross that our prayers are heard and our future is secure, no matter how many question marks we see.
We pray with you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You guide every step and decision in this next season, that You make the path clear in Your perfect timing and give wisdom that comes from above. Your honest cry for guidance in a season where everything seems a great question mark has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord who never leaves His people without a guide. It is no strange thing that you feel fear and worry when the future is unclear, for even David, who went in simple confidence in God to meet the giant Goliath, confessed that there were times when he was afraid, yet his resolve was, What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee.
The chief concern of a man should be to see that his own soul is right in the sight of God, for as Solomon said, Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. When the heart is kept near to Christ, the way becomes clearer. You will go amiss, depend upon it, if you do not wait upon the Lord for guidance, but if you make Him your confidant in all things and commune with Him daily, He will guide you with His counsel and afterward receive you to glory. He guides His people by His Word, by teaching them His statutes, by giving balance to the faculties, banishing fear and establishing faith, and by bringing the soul to bow with submission to His will, and by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance.
Therefore do as the Scripture directs, cry unto God most high, unto God that performeth all things for you. Go and do the right thing as it is set before you in His Word, and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. Having done your best to fight the battle of life, throw yourself upon the promise of God, wherein He has said, Your bread shall be given you, and your water shall be sure. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him, and the man who fully trusts in God need not be afraid of temporal trouble.
We have prayed for you that the Lord will keep you in His protection, that He will make your way plain step by step, that He will teach you to cast every worry upon Him who careth for you, and that you may know the peace of trusting Him whatever the future holds. May He quiet your anxious thoughts, establish your heart in faith, and lead you in the path that is right and good, till He brings you safely through all the questions of this present life into His own presence.
Our Father, guide Thy child with Thine eye, hold Thou this trusting heart from fear, perform all things for him according to Thy wisdom and love, and let Thy perfect will be done, for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

Your request for guidance and protection has been lifted before the Lord, and I thank God for your desire to trust Him when the future feels like a big question mark.
Scripture is honest that this life is uncertain. Riches are uncertain, plans are uncertain, and we cannot see what tomorrow holds. That is why hope placed in anything in this world will always leave us anxious. But hope placed in God is secure, for He does not change and He is the giver of every good thing. When we trust Him, we are not trusting in something that can be quickly transferred or lost, but in the living God who remains faithful.
The Lord calls you to cast your worries on Him because He cares for you, and to acknowledge Him in all your ways so that He will direct your paths. Trusting Him does not mean you will immediately see every answer, but it means you walk in the light, watching and praying, doing what is right each day, and leaving what you cannot control in His hands. A pure life and faithful obedience go together with right belief, and God honors the heart that seeks to please Him.
I have prayed for you in this way:
Father in heaven, I bring this dear one before You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to Your mercy and salvation.
