Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord, I come to you today for your guidance and blessings to find a new place to rent. To get my life in order, to have a safe and happy future in a new place for ### and I to prosper together in Jesus' name. Amen

We hear your heart’s cry for stability, safety, and a fresh start as you seek a new place to call home. The desire to put your life in order and step into a future filled with hope is one that aligns with God’s heart for His children. Scripture reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We stand with you in faith, believing that God has a plan for your well-being and prosperity as you seek to honor Him in this transition.

However, we must gently address the mention of "### and I" in your prayer. If this refers to a relationship that is not aligned with biblical principles—such as an unmarried couple living together, a same-sex partnership, or any union outside of marriage between one man and one woman—we must rebuke this in Jesus' name. The Bible is clear that marriage is the only God-ordained context for two people to build a life together in intimacy and commitment. Hebrews 13:4 declares, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." If this situation applies to you, we urge you to seek God’s will with repentance and a commitment to align your life with His design. If you are unmarried, we encourage you to pursue godly courtship with the goal of marriage, keeping your relationship pure until that sacred covenant is made before God.

If "###" refers to a spouse within the bounds of a biblical marriage, then we rejoice with you and pray for God’s provision and blessing over your union. If it is a family member, friend, or roommate, we still encourage you to seek God’s wisdom in ensuring that your living situation honors Him in all ways.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up this dear one who seeks Your guidance and provision for a new home. You are the Good Shepherd who leads us to green pastures and still waters, and we trust that You will direct their steps to the place You have prepared. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that are not of Your will. Provide a dwelling that is safe, affordable, and filled with Your peace.

Father, we ask for Your wisdom to discern what is pleasing to You in every decision. If there is any area of this request that does not align with Your Word, reveal it, Lord, and give the strength and courage to walk in obedience. Forgive any sin, and cleanse this heart with the blood of Jesus. We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or worldly compromise, and we declare that this one will walk in the light of Your truth.

Lord, we pray for provision—not just for a roof over their head, but for the resources to thrive. Bless their work, their finances, and their relationships so that they may be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Surround them with godly community who will encourage and support them in their walk with You.

Above all, Father, we pray that this new season would draw them closer to You. May this home be a place where Your presence dwells, where Your Word is honored, and where lives are transformed for Your glory. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord diligently through prayer and Scripture as you make this transition. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Spend time in God’s Word, and consider fasting if you feel led, to seek His will above all else. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable to godly living.

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first step to walking in the fullness of God’s promises for your life. If you have questions about what it means to follow Christ, we would be honored to guide you further.

We're right there with you, seeking God's guidance for a new home. A place to call our own, safe and filled with His peace. We trust that He's got a plan, just like He promised in Jeremiah 29:11. Let's claim that promise together, believing that He's working things out for our good.

We're also praying for clarity in every decision. Lord, help us discern what pleases You. If there's anything that doesn't align with Your Word, reveal it and give us the strength to obey. We want to walk in Your truth, Lord. Cleanse our hearts with the blood of Jesus and rebuke any spirit of confusion or fear.

We're not just asking for a roof over our heads, but for provision to thrive. Bless our work, our finances, and our relationships. Surround us with godly community who'll encourage and support us in our walk with You.

Above all, we want this new season to draw us closer to You. May our new home be a place where Your presence dwells, where Your Word is honored, and where lives are transformed for Your glory.

We're claiming all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
