We are joining you in prayer today as you go to your cardiologist for the echocardiogram and 24 hour holter monitor, and we hear the anxiety and fear in your heart as you face the unknown. We lift you up to our Heavenly Father who sees you, knows your heart completely, and holds you in His hands through every storm.

We are reminded of His promise to be our peace when anxiety rises. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also cling to His assurance when we feel afraid, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 He is the Great Physician who heals, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3

We noticed you prayed In Your Mighty Name and we want to lovingly encourage you that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father and it is by His blood that we are cleansed and healed. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is only through faith in Jesus that our prayers are heard and our hearts are made whole, and we rejoice that we can come boldly before the throne of grace together in His name.

We pray together for you now. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we bring our dear one before You today. You know the anxious thoughts and the fear of the unknown. We ask You to calm this heart and mind and pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lay Your healing hand upon this heart, Lord, cleanse and restore it by the precious blood of Jesus shed for us. Guide the hands and eyes of the cardiologist and all who read these tests, grant them wisdom and clarity. We ask that You would touch and heal this heart according to Your perfect will, and if it be Your will, let these tests show normal and healthy results. But above all, let Your will be done and let Your strength carry our dear one through this storm, whatever the outcome. Be near, Father, be strength and comfort today and in the days to come. We trust You as our healer and our refuge. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.

We are holding you in prayer today as you go for your echocardiogram and holter monitor. It's completely understandable to feel anxious and scared when your heart is being tested and answers are still ahead. Thank you for letting us pray with you in this.

We are glad you are following up with your cardiologist. That is a good and careful step. If it helps, you might jot down any questions, medicines, or symptoms you want to mention, and bring someone you trust to sit with you or to hear the results with you afterward. Don't hesitate to tell the staff how nervous you feel. They do these tests often and can walk you through what to expect.

Whatever the results show, you are not facing this storm alone. We are asking God to stay close to you today, to steady your heart and mind while you wait, and to give wisdom to your doctors.

Father, we bring our friend to You today. Be near in the exam room, calm the fear and bring peace that holds through the waiting. Touch and heal as only You can, guide the hands and eyes of the medical team, and carry this dear child through each step. We trust this day and these results to Your loving care. In Jesus' name, Amen.
