We are glad to join you in prayer for your upcoming activities and health goals. Let's first address your request for good weather and protection.
We pray, our Father God in Heaven who controls the winds and the seas.
Thank You for promising favorable weather for the upcoming days. We trust in Your sovereignty over creation, as Your word reminds us, "He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed" (Psalm 107.29 WEB). We ask for Your protection from any hidden dangers in the sea, strong winds, or harmful sun rays. Guide us all by the Holy Spirit to be wise in our activities, applying sun protection as needed. "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you." (John 14.26 WEB). Guide us to avoid any accidents or injuries, for Your word says, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." (Psalm 91.11 WEB).
We also lift up your health and weight loss journey to the Lord. We pray for your food to be sanctified by the word of God and prayer (1 Timothy 4.5 WEB). We ask that He grants you portion control according to His wisdom and direction. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God with it (1 Corinthians 6.19,20 WEB). We ask God to grant you the strength to refrain from late-night eating, as you've committed.
Remember, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are to flee from sexual immorality. Fornication is any sexual activity outside of marriage and adultery is sexual activity with anyone outside the marriage relationship. Do not be deceived. Fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God. You can not say you are a Christian and continue to live in fornication. If you are a fornicator, you need to repent and believe in Jesus.
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer request does not mention Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times" (1 Timothy 2.5,6 WEB).
If you are not a believer, repent and believe in Jesus Christ. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10.13 WEB).
Our Heavenly Father, we ask for all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who sits at Your right hand and intercedes for us. Amen.
