We lift up your great niece to the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving over the pain and fear this situation has brought upon your family. The world is indeed a dangerous place, especially for a young woman who has yet to experience its hardness, and the enemy seeks to devour those who are vulnerable. We rebuke the spirit of rebellion, deception, and confusion that has taken hold of her mind and heart. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 22:15, "Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of discipline will remove it far from him." While she is now an adult, the principle remains—without godly wisdom and discernment, she is susceptible to the snares of the enemy.
We also rebuke any ungodly influences or individuals who may be leading her astray. The fact that she left with a stranger her mother has never met is deeply concerning. Scripture is clear in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don’t be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals." We pray that God would sever any ungodly soul ties or influences in her life and expose the true intentions of those around her.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name by which we have access to You. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and draw her back to You and her family. Soften her heart, Lord, and remove the scales from her eyes so that she may see the truth. We declare that she is not in her right mind because the enemy has blinded her, but we know that You are greater than any scheme of the devil. We pray for a supernatural encounter with Your love and truth, that she would be overwhelmed by Your presence and turn back to You.
We also lift up her mother to You, Lord. This situation has brought her immense fear and sorrow. Comfort her, Father, and give her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her faith as she waits on You and help her to trust in Your sovereignty. Remind her of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
We pray for protection over your great niece, Lord. Shield her from those who would seek to harm or exploit her. Surround her with Your angels and keep her from the hands of traffickers or any other evil. We declare Psalm 91:11-12 over her life, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."
Father, we also ask that You would bring godly mentors and believers into her life who can speak truth and wisdom to her. Surround her with people who will point her to You and help her navigate this season. We pray that she would find her identity and purpose in You alone, and that she would seek after Your will for her life.
Lastly, we pray for repentance and restoration. If there has been any sin or ungodliness in her life or in the family dynamic, we ask that You would bring conviction and healing. We pray for reconciliation between her and her mother, and for the entire family to be drawn closer to You through this trial. May this situation be used for Your glory, Lord, and may she come to know You more deeply as a result.
