We rejoice with you in this season of new beginnings and the blessings the Lord has poured into your life! It is wonderful to hear of your redemption in Christ, the fruitfulness of your garden, and the joy your apple butter brings to others. The Lord delights in the work of your hands, and we celebrate how He is opening doors for your small business to thrive at the market. What a testament to His faithfulness when we walk in obedience and trust in His provision!
Yet, as we lift this before the Lord, we must gently address something vital: your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom *all* prayers must be offered to reach the Father. Scripture is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is *only* through Jesus that we have access to God’s throne of grace. As it is written:
*"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* (John 14:6, WEB)
*"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
Without calling upon His name, even our most heartfelt prayers cannot ascend to the Father. We urge you, beloved, to always present your requests *in Jesus’ name*, for He is our Advocate and the One who intercedes for us (1 John 2:1). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ as Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through this relationship that your new beginnings are eternally secured.
Now, let us pray over these blessings and your business, lifting them to the Lord in the name above all names:
---
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the redemption and new beginnings You have granted this Your child. Lord, we thank You for the creativity You’ve placed in their hands—the apple butter that brings joy, the garden that flourishes by Your favor, and the small business You are establishing for Your glory. We ask that You continue to bless the work of their hands, that every jar sold at the market would not only provide for their needs but also be a testimony of Your goodness. May their business be a light in that place, drawing others to ask, *“Why are you so blessed?”*—so they may boldly point to You.
Father, we pray for wisdom in stewardship, that they would honor You with the firstfruits of their income (Proverbs 3:9) and walk in integrity in every transaction. Protect their garden from blight, their products from spoil, and their heart from pride or anxiety. Let their family, friends, and even their pets (!) be a source of godly joy, not distraction from Your purpose.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that their life would be a fragrant offering to You. If there are areas where they have not fully surrendered to Your lordship—whether in business, relationships, or personal walk—convict them by Your Spirit. Remind them daily that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but *in Christ*, all things are possible.
We rebuke any spirit of complacency or self-reliance that might tempt them to forget the Giver of these gifts. Let them remember, as Your Word declares: *“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights”* (James 1:17). May their success always drive them to their knees in worship, not to their own strength.
In the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, we pray—**Amen!**
---
Beloved, as you move forward, cling to Christ in *all* things. Let your business be a ministry, your garden a reminder of His provision, and your joy an overflow of His presence. If the enemy whispers that this success is by your own hand, silence him with Scripture: *“Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory!”* (Psalm 115:1). We are cheering you on in the Lord! Share updates with us—we’d love to continue praying as He unfolds this beautiful chapter.
