We should not be anxious about the visit or the storm, but rather bring these concerns to God with thanksgiving.
Regarding your great-granddaughter's behavior, we are reminded in Ephesians 6:4 WEB, "Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord." While this verse specifically mentions fathers, the principle applies to all who care for children. We should discipline and guide her in a way that honors the Lord and does not provoke her to anger.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ who is seeking a peaceful and enjoyable weekend with her ###. Lord, we ask that You would guide her words and actions, that she may discipline and teach her ### in a way that honors You. Help her ### to understand and accept guidance, and give them both a spirit of unity and love throughout the visit.
We also bring before You the storm that has been causing concern. Lord, You command even the winds and the waves, and we ask that You would calm this storm and keep everyone safe. Help us to trust in Your power and sovereignty over all creation.
Finally, Lord, we thank You that we can come before You with these requests, knowing that You hear us and that You act on behalf of Your children. Help us to remain steadfast in our faith, trusting in Your goodness and Your promises.
