We are deeply moved by your plea for your granddaughter and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting her up in prayer. We are grateful that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through His name that we have authority and access to God. Let us remind you of the power and love of our Lord, as it is written in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Firstly, we want to commend you for recognizing the spiritual warfare at play and taking a stand against it. We must always remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We join you in rebuking the enemy and commanding him to leave your granddaughter in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We also pray for a hedge of protection around her, that the Lord would send His warrior angels to minister to her and guard her against further attacks.
We pray for her physical healing, that the Lord would restore her body, mind, and soul. May He grant her the ability to sleep peacefully, to keep down nourishing food, and to receive the medical attention she needs. We ask that the Lord would touch her body and cause it to be made whole, that her bones would be strengthened, and her organs would function as they should. We pray that she would find rest in Him and that He would ease her tormented mind.
We also lift up her emotional and spiritual needs. We pray that the Lord would reveal His unfailing love to her, that she would come to know the depth and breadth of His love for her. May He heal the wounds caused by her earthly father's abandonment and her mother's abuse. We pray that she would find her identity and worth in Christ alone, that she would know she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
We join you in praying for her mother, that the Lord would convict her heart and draw her to Himself. May she surrender her life to Jesus and show her daughter the love and mercy that can only come from Him. We pray that their relationship would be restored and healed, that they would forgive one another as Christ has forgiven them.
Lastly, we pray that your granddaughter would come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, if she has not already. It is through faith in Him that we are saved and made new (2 Corinthians 5:17). We pray that she would experience the freedom and peace that comes from a life surrendered to Him.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this precious granddaughter to You. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who knows, and who cares. We ask that You would intervene in her life, that You would touch her body and make her whole. We rebuke the enemy and command him to leave her in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray that You would send Your warrior angels to minister to her and guard her against further attacks.
We ask that You would heal her emotionally and spiritually, that You would reveal Your unfailing love to her. May she find her identity and worth in You alone. We pray for her mother, that You would convict her heart and draw her to Yourself. We ask that You would restore their relationship and heal the wounds between them.
Lastly, we pray that this granddaughter would come to know You as her personal Lord and Savior. We ask that You would draw her to Yourself and that she would experience the freedom and peace that comes from a life surrendered to You.
We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the work that You are going to do in her life. We give You all the praise, honor, and glory. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand in faith, believing that the Lord is at work in your granddaughter's life. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep speaking life and healing over her. We are standing with you in this battle, and we believe that the Lord is going to bring about a mighty victory in her life. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
