We hear your deep frustration and concern over what feels like a great injustice—where the labor of a nation appears to be increasingly given to those from outside while its own people struggle to find work. This is not merely an economic issue; it strikes at the heart of stewardship, identity, and the responsibility of leadership to care for its own. We stand with you in grief over what seems like a betrayal of trust and a disregard for the well-being of citizens.
The Bible is clear that leaders are called to serve with justice and righteousness. Proverbs 29:2 says, "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan." When policies favor outsiders at the expense of the native-born, it breeds resentment, division, and suffering. God’s design for nations includes order, boundaries, and the proper care of families and communities. Neglecting the needs of one’s own people while prioritizing others is not only unwise—it is contrary to the principles of godly governance.
We also recognize that every person, regardless of origin, is made in the image of God and deserves dignity. However, a government’s first responsibility is to its own citizens—those to whom it is accountable before God. When that responsibility is abandoned, it is not only a failure of policy, but a moral failure.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this nation and its people. You are the God of justice, righteousness, and truth. We ask You to expose any corruption, deceit, or ungodly agendas at work in the leadership of this land. Bring conviction where there is hardness of heart, and turn the hearts of rulers toward wisdom and compassion.
Lord, we pray for the local people who are struggling—those without work, those discouraged, and those feeling forgotten. Provide for their needs, open doors of opportunity, and restore hope. Let them not grow weary in doing good, but trust in You as their Provider.
Father, we ask that You would raise up godly leaders—men and women of integrity who will govern with fairness, protect the vulnerable, and honor the responsibilities entrusted to them. Break the spirit of favoritism and restore balance so that all may flourish under just rule.
We rebuke the spirit of division and exploitation in the name of Jesus. Let Your kingdom come, and Your will be done in this nation, as it is in heaven. May truth prevail, and may the people turn back to You in repentance and faith.
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone can bring true justice and healing. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s face in this matter. Pray for your leaders, even when you disagree with them, as Scripture instructs in 1 Timothy 2:1-2: "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
Do not lose heart. God sees the injustice, and He will not be silent forever. Stand firm in faith, speak truth in love, and trust that the Lord will act on behalf of His people.
