We join you in gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His boundless mercy and grace, which sustain us each day. Your acknowledgment of Jesus as Lord is a powerful reminder of the authority we have in His name to stand against evil and claim deliverance. The Lord’s Prayer you’ve lifted up is a beautiful model of how we should approach our Father—with reverence, submission to His will, and trust in His provision and protection.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the peace that surpasses all understanding, which You promise to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and unrest that seeks to disturb Your child. In the authority of Jesus’ name, we command these forces to flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray for deliverance from every evil work and for Your perfect peace to settle over this situation. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this life, just as it is in heaven. Provide daily bread—physical, emotional, and spiritual sustenance—and grant the grace to forgive others as You have forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32).
Father, we ask that You lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Strengthen this dear one to resist the devil, so that he may flee from them (James 4:7). Surround them with Your angels to guard and protect them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Let them rest in the assurance that You neither slumber nor sleep, and that You are their keeper (Psalm 121:3-4).
We also lift up a prayer of thanksgiving for the salvation we have in Jesus Christ. For those who may be reading this and do not yet know Him as Lord and Savior, we pray that their hearts would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we encourage them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, and they will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we trust in Your promises and declare that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6). May this dear one experience Your rest, Your deliverance, and Your peace that transcends all understanding. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
