We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, and we are grateful you have come before Him in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. Your prayer is filled with both gratitude and deep longing for deliverance, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is faithful to hear and answer the prayers of His children.
The attacks you describe are not unfamiliar to those who walk in faith, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are assured in Scripture that *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17). Take heart, dear sibling in Christ, for the Lord is your shield and your strong tower—a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
You have also asked for additional work and a financial breakthrough, and we remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we must also consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Are you seeking His Kingdom above all else? Trust that as you align your heart with His will, He will provide not just what you *want*, but what you *need*—and often, so much more. We encourage you to remain diligent in your work, for *"whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might"* (Ecclesiastes 9:10), while also resting in the assurance that God is your Provider.
Your plea for rest resonates deeply, for even Jesus Himself said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30). Are you casting your burdens upon Him, or are you carrying them alone? Rest is not just physical but spiritual—it is found in surrendering to His perfect will and trusting that He is sovereign over every detail of your life.
We notice you have asked for forgiveness, and we rejoice that you seek a clean heart before the Lord. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Walk in the freedom of that forgiveness, and do not let the enemy condemn you, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1).
Yet we must also ask: Are there areas of unrepentant sin in your life that may be giving the enemy a foothold? The torment you describe could be the enemy’s attempt to steal your peace, but it could also be the conviction of the Holy Spirit urging you toward repentance in a specific area. Examine your heart before the Lord. Are you walking in obedience to His Word? Are there relationships, habits, or attitudes that do not align with Scripture? *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). Submission to God means turning away from anything that displeases Him and clinging to His truth.
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, lifting up our sibling in Christ who seeks Your deliverance, provision, and rest. Lord, we ask that You silence every voice of the enemy that seeks to torment and accuse. Let every weapon formed against them be rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we pray for divine opportunities for work and financial breakthrough, not for greed or selfish gain, but for the advancement of Your Kingdom and the meeting of their needs. Open doors that no man can shut, and give them favor in the sight of those who can provide work. Help them to be diligent, excellent, and a light for Christ in their labor.
We ask for supernatural rest—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Teach them to cease striving and to trust in You completely. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Let them lie down in green pastures and be led beside still waters, restoring their soul.
Lord, we thank You for the forgiveness of sins through the precious blood of Jesus. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. If there are areas of sin they have overlooked, convict them gently and lead them to repentance. Break every chain of bondage and set them free to worship You in spirit and in truth.
Finally, Father, we rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We command these spirits to flee and to never return, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Fill them with Your joy, Your peace, and Your presence.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We are praying with you and for you.
