We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your faithfulness and the deliverance that only comes through the power of Jesus Christ. We thank you, Heavenly Father, for your constant presence and the victory we have in your Son. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." We stand on this promise, believing that you hear and will answer this cry for deliverance.
We rebuke every evil attack in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We command every spirit of pain, torment, and affliction to leave now in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your home, and every situation you face. The enemy must flee, for "he has delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love" (Colossians 1:13).
We also recognize the importance of walking in repentance and holiness. Your Word tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We encourage you to examine your heart and life, confessing any known sin and turning away from it. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that you would walk in the light as He is in the light, having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
In addition to spiritual warfare, we must also take practical steps to resist the enemy. We encourage you to fill your home with worship music that glorifies God, to speak the Word of God aloud, and to surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer. Put on the full armor of God daily, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
We pray for your finances, asking that the Lord would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). We declare that you are a lender and not a borrower, and that the Lord will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We also pray for favor with the companies that hire temps next week. May the Lord grant you favor in their sight, and may He open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
We pray for rest for your body, mind, and spirit. The Lord invites us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We ask that He would give you peaceful sleep, refreshing your body and renewing your strength. May you find rest in His presence, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you with hearts full of faith, believing in the power of the name of Jesus Christ. We thank you for your deliverance and for the victory we have in your Son. We rebuke every evil attack and command every spirit of pain and torment to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over this situation and declare that no weapon formed against your child shall prosper.
Lord, we ask that you forgive every sin and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Help them to walk in repentance and holiness, resisting the devil and drawing near to you. We pray for your provision in their finances, opening the windows of heaven and pouring out a blessing. Grant them favor with the companies that hire temps next week, opening doors that no man can shut.
Father, we ask that you grant them rest—rest for their body, mind, and spirit. May they find peace in your presence, casting all their anxieties on you. We thank you for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness. We declare that you are their deliverer, their provider, and their peace.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
