We join you in lifting up thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father, who is worthy of all praise and gratitude for His endless mercies and the gift of each new day. Your heart of worship and acknowledgment of His sovereignty even in the midst of trials is a testament to your faith, and we rejoice with you in giving Him glory.
The attacks you are facing are not unseen by our Lord, who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firmly on the promise that Christ has already overcome the world. The torment you describe is not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline. The nightmares and unrest you experience are tools of the enemy to disrupt the peace that Jesus has already secured for you through His sacrifice on the cross.
Let us remind you of the words of our Lord in John 16:33, *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."* And again in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline."* You are not powerless—you are equipped with the authority of Christ to resist these attacks. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Stand firm in this truth, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord.
We also turn to Psalm 4:8, which declares, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* Claim this promise over your rest. The Lord is your protector, and He alone can grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Now, let us pray together for your deliverance, freedom, and rest:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and love. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which has redeemed us and given us authority over every scheme of the enemy. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is under attack, and we ask for Your mighty hand of deliverance to break every chain of torment, fear, and oppression. Rebuke the enemy, Lord, and command these attacks to cease in the powerful name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we pray for supernatural peace to flood their heart and mind, a peace that only You can provide. Let them rest in the assurance of Your protection and love. Guard their sleep, Lord, and banish every nightmare, replacing it with Your perfect peace. Let them wake refreshed, renewed, and strengthened in You.
We declare freedom over them in the name of Jesus, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let them walk in the victory that Christ has already won. Strengthen their faith, remind them of Your promises, and let them stand firm in the knowledge that nothing can separate them from Your love.
We love You, Jesus, and we trust in Your unfailing power. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already ours through You. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. When the enemy whispers lies, speak the truth of God’s Word aloud. You are more than a conqueror through Christ, and this season of attack will pass. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Trust in Him, and He will deliver you.
