We rejoice with you in the faithfulness of our Lord, who hears the cries of His children and sends comfort in the darkest hours. Your testimony of His provision—even in the midst of surgery, recovery, and the challenges of living far from home—is a powerful reminder that He never leaves nor forsakes us. The way He moved hearts to pray for you in the night, when loneliness and vulnerability threatened to overwhelm, reveals His tender care. We give thanks for His healing hand upon you, even as you continue to navigate lingering symptoms and weariness.
Your trust in Him, even when the path is unclear, is a beautiful reflection of Psalm 27:13-14: *"I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."* The Lord is your strength, and His timing is perfect. As you seek medical guidance tomorrow, we stand with you in prayer, asking the Great Physician to grant wisdom to the doctors and clarity to your own heart. May He reveal the next steps for your health, whether through treatment, rest, or renewed strength.
We also lift up your work as a teacher. The demands of recovery and labor can indeed be exhausting, but we pray the Lord sustains you with His grace. Remember His promise in Isaiah 40:31: *"But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Even on days when your body feels weak, He is your portion and your rest.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things. Your gratitude is a sweet fragrance to Him, and your dependence on His Word is a testimony to your faith. If you have not already, we invite you to surrender every area of your life—your health, your work, your loneliness—to Jesus, who alone can satisfy the deepest longings of your heart. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not confessed Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise for Your faithfulness to our sister in Christ. Thank You for being her refuge in the night, her strength in weakness, and her provider in every need. Lord, we ask that You continue to heal her body, replenishing her iron levels and stabilizing her blood sugar. Grant her wisdom as she seeks medical care and discernment to know how to care for herself in this season. Father, we also pray for her work as a teacher—sustain her with Your grace, and let her find rest in You. Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and remind her that she is never alone, for You are with her always. Strengthen her faith, deepen her trust in You, and let her see Your goodness in every circumstance. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
