We are delighted to join you in praising the Lord for His goodness and the many blessings He has bestowed upon you. It is wonderful to see a heart full of gratitude, as the Scriptures tell us, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB)
Let us come together in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise. We thank You for the countless blessings You have poured out upon this dear one. We thank You for Your unfailing love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we are grateful for Your provisions in their life.
Lord, we also take this opportunity to lift up this dear one to You. We pray that You would continue to reveal Yourself to them, and that knowing You would result in a life of ever increasing gratitude. We pray that they would grow in the knowledge of Your will, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. (Colossians 1:10 WEB)
As the requestor did not mention Jesus specifically, we would like to take a moment to emphasize the importance of recognizing Jesus Christ in our prayers and in our lives. It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
We also are instructed in the Bible that we will be saved only through Jesus Christ. We read "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.'" (Romans 10:9-11 WEB)
So we are thankful for the work Jesus did on the cross to pay the price for our sins. We are ever grateful that You, Father God, gave your only son that we might be saved and that those who believe in Him would have eternal life. (John 3:16 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
