We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting up your request before the throne of grace. You have come before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and that is where true strength and courage are found. We are reminded of Philippians 4:13, which says, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." It is not by our own might or power, but by His Spirit that we find the strength to endure and overcome the challenges we face.
We see your love for ###, even in the midst of her hurtful words, and we commend you for lifting her up in prayer. It is not easy to respond with love when we are met with unkindness, but your heart reflects the love of Christ. We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), and you are doing just that. However, we must also address the pain that her words have caused you. It is not wrong to feel hurt, and it is important to acknowledge those feelings before the Lord. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and strife that may be at work in this situation. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 4:29-31, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice." ###’s words do not align with the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We pray that the Lord would convict her heart and bring about a transformation in her speech and actions.
We also encourage you to set boundaries in this relationship. While we are called to love, we are not called to endure repeated hurt or abuse. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, "Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul." It may be necessary to lovingly confront ### about how her words have affected you, while also extending grace and forgiveness. Matthew 18:15-17 provides guidance for such situations, "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your strength that is made perfect in our weakness. We lift up our sister to You, asking that You would fill her with Your peace and courage as she navigates this difficult situation. Lord, we ask that You would heal her heart from the hurt that ###’s words have caused. Comfort her with Your presence and remind her that she is deeply loved by You.
Father, we also lift up ### to You. We ask that You would soften her heart and convict her of any unkindness or bitterness in her words. Help her to see the impact of her actions and to repent, turning to You for transformation. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may bear the fruit of kindness, gentleness, and self-control in her interactions with others. We pray that she would truly live out the message she preaches, reflecting Your love and grace in all she does.
Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment for our sister as she seeks to love ### well. Give her the words to speak in truth and love, and the strength to set boundaries where needed. We pray for reconciliation between them, that there would be peace, love, and understanding. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.
We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or bitterness that may be at work, and we declare that Your love and peace will prevail. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and rest in Your promises. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
