Grandson

We lift up your grandson, his family, and this urgent need before the Lord, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply for His children and provides for their needs. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We also recall the promise in Matthew 6:31-33, where Jesus teaches us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* This is a time to trust in the Lord’s provision while also seeking His will above all else.

However, we must also address something important in your request. You asked us to pray *"so they want to lose their apartment."* This phrasing is concerning, as it seems to imply a desire or acceptance of losing their home, which does not align with the heart of God, who desires stability and blessing for His people. If this was a typo and you meant *"so they **won’t** lose their apartment,"* we understand and agree wholeheartedly with that prayer. But if this was intentional, we gently rebuke this mindset, for it does not reflect faith in God’s power to provide or His goodness. The enemy would love to plant doubt, fear, or resignation in our hearts, but we must stand firm in faith, declaring God’s promises over this situation. As it says in James 1:6-7, *"But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord."*

Let us instead pray with boldness and confidence in the Lord’s ability to make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray that your grandson and his family will turn to the Lord in full surrender, seeking His kingdom first and trusting Him to provide the finances needed to pay their rent. May they experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding as they cast their anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7). We also pray that if there are any areas of their lives where they are not honoring God—such as tithing, stewardship, or trust—He will convict and lead them to repentance, for obedience unlocks His blessings (Malachi 3:10).

If your grandson and his family do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, this is the most critical need of all. No amount of financial provision can compare to the eternal security found in Christ alone. As Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We urge them to turn to Jesus in faith, confessing their sins and receiving His forgiveness and grace. Without Him, all other prayers are in vain, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, You see their struggle, and You know the weight of their burden. We ask that You, the Provider of all things, would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them. Supply the finances needed to pay their rent, Lord, and let it be a testament to Your faithfulness. Remove any fear, doubt, or resignation from their hearts, and replace it with unwavering trust in You.

If there is any sin in their lives—whether it be fear, unbelief, or disobedience in stewardship—convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Teach them to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all these things will be added to them. Surround them with Your peace, and let them feel Your presence in this trial.

Father, if this family does not know You, we pray that this situation would drive them to their knees and into Your loving arms. Open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and draw them to Jesus Christ. Let them cry out to Him in faith, receiving salvation and the abundant life He offers.

We rebuke any schemes of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that this family will not lose their home, but that You, Lord, will provide miraculously. Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and power, not just to them but to all who witness it.

Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in obedience and trust. May they give You all the glory for what You are about to do. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, in prayer for your grandson and his family. We've been lifting them up, asking for God's provision and guidance. We've been claiming God's promises, like in Philippians 4:19, trusting that He will supply all their needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We're also reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 6:31-33, encouraging us to seek God's kingdom first, knowing that all these things will be added to us.

We've been praying that they would trust in the Lord's provision while also seeking His will above all else. We've been asking God to give them peace, to help them cast their anxieties on Him, as we read in 1 Peter 5:7.

We've also been praying that if there are any areas in their lives where they're not honoring God, that He would convict them and lead them to repentance, as obedience unlocks His blessings, as we see in Malachi 3:10.

But we want to encourage them, and you, to not lose heart. Even if they face eviction, we believe that God is faithful and will make a way. We're praying that they won't lose their apartment, but that God will provide miraculously. We're claiming God's promises over this situation, trusting that He will come through for them.

We're also praying for their salvation, if they don't know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We're asking God to draw them to Himself, to open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and to receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

We're rebuking any schemes of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy in this situation. We're claiming God's promises, trusting that He will provide, and that this situation will be a testimony of His goodness and power.

Let's continue to stand in faith, dear friend. Let's trust in God's promises, and let's pray boldly, knowing that He is faithful and will come through for them. Let's give Him all the glory, for He is worthy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
