Itʼs a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever had bills due but no money to pay them? Have you ever felt just when you got one side nailed down, the other side came loose? Have you ever owed someone but you were unable to repay the debt when they wanted you to? Each time you see them, they remind you. Have you ever felt as though your debt was rapidly increasing every month? The more you do, the more you owe. Have you ever gone pass the due date on a payment? You knew it was due on a certain date, but your finances were not able to accommodate their request. Have you been there? Are you there now?
Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you about Grace Period. My friend, Grace Period is the extended time given to you after the normal due date has expired. In the world, you may receive several days of grace to pay off your debt. The amazing thing about the worldʼs Grace Period is although they give you more time to pay, theyʼre also charging you a late fee. But when you talk about the Grace Period of God, there are no late fees assessed. It is through His love that grace is issued to you. The Bible declares in John 1:17 - For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. As a result of Christʼs sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, we are now able to experience the Grace Period of God. When you fall behind with man, they harass you with telephone calls and mail; but when you fall behind with God, He surrounds you with love.
My brother, my sister, do you know that you are in the Grace Period of God? The Bible declares in Romans 6:14 - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. The law is what man operates under, but grace is what God offers. To know God, is to know His grace. (Grace - when you receive what you do not deserve). Dear friend, when everything was going wrong in your life, it was the grace of God that brought a change. When you were knowingly committing sin, it was the grace of God that kept death from taking you away. The enemy and the world considered you guilty, but the grace of God declared you free. The Bible declares in Psalms 84:11 - For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Thought to Remember: When nothing was going your way, it was Godʼs amazing grace that kept you.
