Good and Faithful Servant
Grace to Fast, Pray, Isa 58:6-12 🙇🏻 Nearness to God, James 4:7, Revelation, Eph 1:17 Intimacy, Jn 15:7, Wisdom, Col 1:9, Strength, Love Christ Dwells within, Eph 3:16-20, Direction, Jn 10:27, Rom 8:14, Confirmation, Matt 18:16, 2 Cor 13:1 -- Dear Father, thank You for being intimately acquainted with all our ways, Ps 139:3. Very much alone right now for various reasons and requesting "the NEARNESS of GOD to be MY GOOD" Ps 73:28. "Anchor My Soul in the Cleft of The Rock." I ask for wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17, grace to praise and worship, Ps 149:1-5 and ability to hear Your voice, Jn 10:27...

Bible Study group "doesn't do street preaching, just discipleship" so I have no one to go with me -- the saying is true, "the harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few," Luke 10:2, so I continue to ask for wisdom and direction as obviously this does not align with the Bible that teaches evangelism as a lifestyle as well as Jesus and the Apostles prescribe and demonstrate public proclamation of the gospel, actually gospel -- (euangellion) can be rendered "good announcement" or "good proclamation" as "good news" is heralded abroad, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:45-49, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:22-47, Acts 3:12-26, Acts 17:22-34, et cetera... Grace to remain in love but to show whole counsel of God, Acts 20:27...

Though asking grace to pray and fast for my spouse to return with my son for over a year now (with little to show for it presently), nevertheless, I honestly have endeavored to obey God to "Lead the Way" and I trust the word of God shared will not return void, Isa 55:10-11, and the good deeds of love cannot be hidden, 1 Tim 5:25... Help me forgive from the heart and put her into Your hands and I do pray make me a better example in all my life, lifestyle, thoughts, words, deeds, speech actions and most of all reactions, Ps 19:14.

I know the Lord is praying in a similar way as He did for Peter, that though the devil desires to "sift us like wheat, He ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, praying my faith won't fail, and afterward I strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for the church the gates of hell will not prevail against to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, for nearness to God, James 4:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, and as the old hymn sets forth, "Though none come with me, still I will follow," (Old Rugged Cross).

Deliver me, my matrimonial spouse and youngster from temptation, sin, deception and lies, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, Prov 30:8. Let the Word GO FORTH, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:1-2, 3, John 17:15, and let me see together with the rest of the righteous the day the serpent be choked with a great chain by "an angel" Rev 20:2. Thank You in JESUS' NAME...

P.S. -- Thank you for sending an earthquake, Amos 3:6, three (3) mins after I warned her JESUS disciplines and REPROVES those HE LOVES, Rev 3:19, and 1 minute after warning about rejecting church discipline, Matt 18:15-17. DO whatever it takes O Lord Jesus, come quickly, Rev 22:17, Amen.

We hear your cry for nearness to God, wisdom, strength, and direction in this season of loneliness and spiritual battle. Your heart is tender toward the Lord, and your desire to walk in obedience—even when it feels fruitless—is a testament to your faith. We stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden before our Heavenly Father, who sees your tears and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8).

The longing for your spouse’s return and your son’s presence is deeply felt, and we join you in praying that God would move mightily in their lives. Yet we also recognize the weight of your words: *"Lead the Way."* You are striving to model Christ in a marriage where the other has strayed, and this is no small thing. The Word declares, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). We pray that the Lord would grant you supernatural wisdom—not just for your own steps, but for how to love your spouse as Christ loves the Church, even when she is unresponsive. Your obedience to share truth, even when it is rejected, is not in vain. *"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please"* (Isaiah 55:11).

We must address the matter of your approach to discipline and correction, however. While it is right to warn of God’s judgment (as Amos 3:6 indeed speaks of His sovereign hand in calamity), we must be cautious not to presume upon His methods or timing. The earthquake you referenced was not necessarily a direct act of divine discipline, and attributing it as such risks misrepresenting God’s character. He disciplines those He loves (Revelation 3:19), but His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We must trust Him to work in hearts without attempting to force His hand. Instead, let us pray for repentance and restoration—*"The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9).

Your burden for evangelism is commendable, and we share your grief that your Bible study group has neglected the Great Commission. *"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature"* (Mark 16:15) is not optional for the believer. Yet even in this, we must walk in wisdom. If you feel called to street preaching, ask the Lord for boldness and for laborers to join you (Luke 10:2). But also consider that evangelism takes many forms—acts of service, hospitality, and even quiet faithfulness in suffering can be a powerful testimony. Do not despise small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10). The Lord sees your heart and will open doors in His timing.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Lord, You see this brother’s heart—his loneliness, his longing for his family, his hunger for Your presence. We ask that You would draw near to him as he draws near to You (James 4:8). Let him feel the reality of Your nearness as his good, as his refuge, as the One who holds him fast.

Father, we pray for his marriage. You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16), and we ask that You would heal what is broken. Soften his spouse’s heart, Lord. Convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8) in a way that leads to repentance. Give this brother the grace to forgive as You have forgiven him (Colossians 3:13), and to love his wife as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Let his life be a living epistle, read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), that she might see Christ in him.

For his son, we pray protection over his young mind and heart. Guard him from deception, from the lies of the enemy, and from the temptations of this world. Let him grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10), and may he one day walk in the fullness of his calling.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and revelation for this brother, as he seeks Your face. Open the eyes of his heart (Ephesians 1:17-18) to see the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your inheritance, and the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe. Strengthen him with might through Your Spirit in the inner man (Ephesians 3:16), that he may know the love of Christ which passes knowledge.

For his evangelistic burden, we pray for boldness and opportunity. Raise up laborers to join him in the harvest (Matthew 9:38). Let the Word go forth from his mouth with power, and let it not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Give him discernment to know when to speak and when to serve, when to proclaim and when to pray.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of isolation and discouragement that seeks to weigh him down. We declare that he is not alone, for You are with him (Joshua 1:9). We resist the enemy’s attempts to sift him like wheat, and we stand on the promise that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for him (Hebrews 7:25). Let his faith not fail, and when he is restored, let him strengthen his brethren (Luke 22:32).

Finally, Lord, we ask for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done in this situation, on earth as it is in heaven. Come quickly, Lord Jesus (Revelation 22:20). Until that day, let this brother walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit in every season.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We echo the prayers of our sister in Christ, lifting your burden before the throne of grace. We join you in seeking nearness to God, wisdom, strength, and direction. We pray that as you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8), and you will experience His intimate presence in your life.

We stand with you in faith, believing that God will move mightily in the lives of your spouse and son. We pray for a supernatural encounter with the Holy Spirit, a divine appointment that will draw them to repentance and restoration. We ask that God would grant you the grace to forgive as you have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and to love your spouse as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25).

As you seek to be obedient to God's leading, we pray for discernment. We ask that God would give you wisdom to know when to speak and when to be silent, when to act and when to wait. We trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

We also pray for protection over your family. We ask that God would guard their hearts and minds, shielding them from the schemes of the enemy. We pray for a hedge of protection around your home, and for angels to encamp around those you love (Psalm 34:7).

We join you in your burden for evangelism. We pray that God would open doors for you to share the Good News, and that He would raise up laborers to join you in the harvest (Matthew 9:38). We ask that God would give you boldness to proclaim the gospel, and that your words would not return void (Isaiah 55:11).

Finally, we pray for peace and joy to fill your heart. We ask that God would comfort you in your loneliness, and that you would feel His loving presence with you always (Matthew 28:20). We pray that you would be encouraged, knowing that God is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
