Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Grace to Fast, Pray, Isa 58:6-12 🙇🏻 Nearness to God, James 4:7, Revelation, Eph 1:17 Intimacy, Jn 15:7, Wisdom, Col 1:9, Strength, Love Christ Dwells within, Eph 3:16-20, Direction, Jn 10:27, Rom 8:14, Confirmation, Matt 18:16, 2 Cor 13:1 -- Dear Father, thank You for being intimately acquainted with all our ways, Ps 139:3. Very much alone right now for various reasons and requesting "the NEARNESS of GOD to be MY GOOD" Ps 73:28. "Anchor My Soul in the Cleft of The Rock." I ask for wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17, grace to praise and worship, Ps 149:1-5 and ability to hear Your voice, Jn 10:27...

Bible Study group "doesn't do street preaching, just discipleship" so I have no one to go with me -- the saying is true, "the harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few," Luke 10:2, so I continue to ask for wisdom and direction as obviously this does not align with the Bible that teaches evangelism as a lifestyle as well as Jesus and the Apostles prescribe and demonstrate public proclamation of the gospel, actually gospel -- (euangellion) can be rendered "good announcement" or "good proclamation" as "good news" is heralded abroad, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:45-49, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:22-47, Acts 3:12-26, Acts 17:22-34, et cetera... Grace to remain in love but to show whole counsel of God, Acts 20:27...

Though asking grace to pray and fast for my spouse to return with my son for over a year now (with little to show for it presently), nevertheless, I honestly have endeavored to obey God to "Lead the Way" and I trust the word of God shared will not return void, Isa 55:10-11, and the good deeds of love cannot be hidden, 1 Tim 5:25... Help me forgive from the heart and put her into Your hands and I do pray make me a better example in all my life, lifestyle, thoughts, words, deeds, speech actions and most of all reactions, Ps 19:14.

I know the Lord is praying in a similar way as He did for Peter, that though the devil desires to "sift us like wheat, He ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, praying my faith won't fail, and afterward I strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for the church the gates of hell will not prevail against to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, for nearness to God, James 4:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, and as the old hymn sets forth, "Though none come with me, still I will follow," (Old Rugged Cross).

Deliver me, my matrimonial spouse and youngster from temptation, sin, deception and lies, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, Prov 30:8. Let the Word GO FORTH, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:1-2, 3, John 17:15, and let me see together with the rest of the righteous the day the serpent be choked with a great chain by "an angel" Rev 20:2. Thank You in JESUS' NAME...

P.S. -- Thank you for sending an earthquake, Amos 3:6, three (3) mins after I warned her JESUS disciplines and REPROVES those HE LOVES, Rev 3:19, and 1 minute after warning about rejecting church discipline, Matt 18:15-17. DO whatever it takes O Lord Jesus, come quickly, Rev 22:17, Amen.

We hear your cry for nearness to God, and we join you in seeking His face with fasting and prayer. The scriptures you’ve shared—Isaiah 58:6-12, James 4:7, Ephesians 1:17—remind us that true intimacy with the Lord comes through humility, obedience, and a heart set on His will. You are not alone in feeling isolated, but we declare that God is your refuge, your Rock, and your ever-present help in times of need (Psalm 46:1). The cleft of the Rock is Christ Himself (Exodus 33:22), and He invites you to abide in Him, where you will bear much fruit (John 15:4-5).

Your longing to hear His voice and walk in wisdom is beautiful, and we pray that the eyes of your heart would be enlightened, that you may know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glory (Ephesians 1:17-19). The Lord promises that His sheep hear His voice (John 10:27), and we stand with you in faith, asking that He would speak clearly and confirm His direction in your life (2 Corinthians 13:1). May you be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith, and that you may comprehend the breadth, length, height, and depth of His love (Ephesians 3:16-19).

We must address the matter of your marriage with both truth and compassion. The separation from your spouse and child is a heavy burden, and we pray for their return, but we also acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). While you have sought to lead in a godly manner, we urge you to examine your heart and actions to ensure they align with Scripture. Forgiveness is not optional—it is a command (Matthew 6:14-15, Colossians 3:13). We pray that you would release any bitterness, anger, or resentment into the Lord’s hands, trusting Him to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Your example in word, deed, and reaction must reflect Christ, for you are being watched—not just by your family, but by the world (1 Peter 2:12).

Your concern about evangelism is valid. The Great Commission is not a suggestion—it is a mandate (Matthew 28:19-20). The harvest *is* plentiful, and the laborers *are* few (Luke 10:2). If your Bible study group is not actively proclaiming the gospel in public, they are neglecting a vital part of the Christian life. We encourage you to seek like-minded believers who share your passion for street preaching and discipleship, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). If none come with you, remember the words of the hymn you quoted: *"Though none go with me, still I will follow."* The Lord is your strength, and He will equip you for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17).

We rebuke the spirit of passivity in the church that avoids public proclamation of the gospel. The early church turned the world upside down by preaching Christ crucified (Acts 17:6). The gospel is not merely "good news"—it is the *power of God for salvation* (Romans 1:16). We pray that you would have boldness to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), even if it means standing alone. May the Word of God go forth from your lips with power, and may the Lord open doors for you to share His truth (Colossians 4:3).

Your prayer for your family’s protection from temptation, sin, and deception is critical. We stand with you in binding the evil one and declaring that no weapon formed against your household shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you and your family beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). We pray that your spouse and child would be drawn back to the Lord, that their hearts would be softened, and that they would repent of any sin or rebellion. The Lord disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6), and we trust that He is working even in the difficult circumstances you’ve described.

However, we must address the mention of the earthquake with caution. While God is sovereign over all creation (Amos 3:6), we must not presume upon His judgment or take matters into our own hands. Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and our role is to pray for repentance, not to call down calamity. We encourage you to focus on intercession, asking God to soften hearts and bring restoration, rather than invoking discipline in a way that could be misinterpreted as presumptuous or vindictive.

We also note that your prayer is firmly rooted in the name of Jesus, and for that we are grateful. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18), and it is His blood that cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). We pray that you would continue to walk in the power of His name, knowing that He ever lives to intercede for you (Hebrews 7:25).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who cries out for Your nearness. Lord, You are his Good, his Refuge, and his Strength. Draw him close to You, that he may know the fullness of Your love and the power of Your presence. Enlighten the eyes of his heart, that he may see the hope to which You have called him and the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints.

Father, we ask for wisdom and revelation for him, that he may walk in Your ways and hear Your voice clearly. Strengthen him with power through Your Spirit, that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith, and that he may comprehend the vast dimensions of Your love. Give him boldness to proclaim the gospel, even if he must stand alone. Raise up laborers to join him in the harvest, and open doors for him to share Your truth with power and compassion.

Lord, we pray for his marriage and family. Soften the heart of his spouse, and draw her back to You. Protect their child from deception and sin, and let Your Word take root in their lives. Help our brother to forgive fully, to lead with humility, and to trust You with the outcome. May his life be a living testimony of Your grace, and may his words and actions reflect Christ in every way.

We bind the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against his household shall prosper. Deliver them from temptation, sin, and deception, and let Your Word go forth with power. We pray for the church, that she would rise up and resist the devil, standing firm in the faith. Come quickly, Lord Jesus, and let Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior, Redeemer, and King. Amen.

We stand with you in your longing for nearness to God, just as the psalmist cried out, "My soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You in a dry and weary land where there is no water" (Psalm 63:1). We join you in seeking His face through fasting and prayer, trusting that He will draw near to you and reveal Himself to you in a mighty way (James 4:8).

Your desire to hear God's voice and walk in wisdom is commendable. We pray that you would be like the wise virgins who kept their lamps trimmed and burning, ready for the bridegroom's arrival (Matthew 25:1-13). We ask that the Holy Spirit would enlighten the eyes of your heart, that you may know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18).

We also pray for your family, that God would protect them from temptation, sin, and deception. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and that they shall dwell in safety (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that your spouse and child would be drawn back to the Lord, that their hearts would be softened, and that they would repent of any sin or rebellion.

May you be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith. We pray that you would comprehend the breadth, length, width, and depth of His love, which surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:16-19).

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will, even if it means standing alone. Remember the words of the hymn, "Though none go with me, still I will follow." The Lord is your strength, and He will equip you for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
