Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Grace to Fast, Pray, Isa 58:6-12 🙇🏻 Nearness to God, James 4:7, Revelation, Eph 1:17 Intimacy, Jn 15:7, Wisdom, Col 1:9, Strength, Love Christ Dwells within, Eph 3:16-20, Direction, Jn 10:27, Rom 8:14, Confirmation, Matt 18:16, 2 Cor 13:1 -- Dear Father, thank You for being intimately acquainted with all our ways, Ps 139:3. Very much alone right now for various reasons and requesting "the NEARNESS of GOD to be MY GOOD" Ps 73:28. "Anchor My Soul in the Cleft of The Rock." I ask for wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17, grace to praise and worship, Ps 149:1-5 and ability to hear Your voice, Jn 10:27...

Bible Study group "doesn't do street preaching, just discipleship" so I have no one to go with me -- the saying is true, "the harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few," Luke 10:2, so I continue to ask for wisdom and direction as obviously this does not align with the Bible that teaches evangelism as a lifestyle as well as Jesus and the Apostles prescribe and demonstrate public proclamation of the gospel, actually gospel -- (euangellion) can be rendered "good announcement" or "good proclamation" as "good news" is heralded abroad, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:45-49, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:22-47, Acts 3:12-26, Acts 17:22-34, et cetera... Grace to remain in love but to show whole counsel of God, Acts 20:27...

Though asking grace to pray and fast for my spouse to return with my son for over a year now (with little to show for it presently), nevertheless, I honestly have endeavored to obey God to "Lead the Way" and I trust the word of God shared will not return void, Isa 55:10-11, and the good deeds of love cannot be hidden, 1 Tim 5:25... Help me forgive from the heart and put her into Your hands and I do pray make me a better example in all my life, lifestyle, thoughts, words, deeds, speech actions and most of all reactions, Ps 19:14.

I know the Lord is praying in a similar way as He did for Peter, that though the devil desires to "sift us like wheat, He ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, praying my faith won't fail, and afterward I strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for the church the gates of hell will not prevail against to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, for nearness to God, James 4:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, and as the old hymn sets forth, "Though none come with me, still I will follow," (Old Rugged Cross).

Deliver me, my matrimonial spouse and youngster from temptation, sin, deception and lies, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, Prov 30:8. Let the Word GO FORTH, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:1-2, 3, John 17:15, and let me see together with the rest of the righteous the day the serpent be choked with a great chain by "an angel" Rev 20:2. Thank You in JESUS' NAME...

P.S. -- Thank you for sending an earthquake, Amos 3:6, three (3) mins after I warned her JESUS disciplines and REPROVES those HE LOVES, Rev 3:19, and 1 minute after warning about rejecting church discipline, Matt 18:15-17. Do whatever it takes, O Lord Jesus, shake EVERYTHING that can be shaken, in order the leave an unshakable kingdom, Hag 2:6, Heb 12:26-27, 28, 29. The Spirit and The Bride (Your Helpers) say, "Come quickly Lord Jesus," Rev 22:17, Amen.

We hear your cry for nearness to God, for wisdom, strength, and direction in this season of loneliness and trial. Your heart is tender before the Lord, and we join you in seeking His face with fasting and prayer, trusting in His promises as you stand firm in faith. The longing for your spouse and son to return is heavy, yet we see your commitment to lead in obedience, trusting that God’s Word will not return void. We stand with you in this battle, knowing that the enemy seeks to sift you like wheat, but Jesus intercedes for you even now.

First, we must address the matter of evangelism. You are right to recognize that the Great Commission is not merely discipleship but the public proclamation of the gospel. Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and preach the good news (Mark 16:15), and the early church did so boldly in the streets, synagogues, and marketplaces. A Bible study that refuses to engage in evangelism is incomplete, for faith comes by hearing the Word of God preached (Romans 10:17). We rebuke the spirit of timidity and pray for boldness to arise in you and in the body of Christ. The harvest is indeed plentiful, and the laborers are few—may the Lord of the harvest send forth more workers into His fields (Luke 10:2).

We also lift up your marriage, praying that God would soften hearts and restore what has been broken. You have sought to lead with love and obedience, and we declare that your prayers and godly example are not in vain. Forgiveness is a daily choice, and we pray that the Lord would help you release bitterness and entrust your spouse into His hands. The Word says that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8), and we ask that God would pour out His love in your heart afresh. Yet we must also warn against any manipulation or attempts to force repentance through natural means. God disciplines those He loves (Revelation 3:19), but we must not take His role upon ourselves. Trust Him to shake what needs shaking, knowing that His discipline is perfect and His timing is sovereign.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Lord, we thank You for this brother’s hunger for Your presence. We ask that You draw near to him as he draws near to You (James 4:8). Fill him with the fullness of Your Spirit, that he may know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Christ’s love (Ephesians 3:16-19). Grant him wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of his heart may be enlightened (Ephesians 1:17-18).

Father, we pray for his marriage. You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16), and we ask that You would restore what has been torn apart. Soften hearts, Lord, and bring conviction where there is hardness. Help him to forgive as You have forgiven him (Colossians 3:13), and let Your love be the foundation of his home. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of division and strife.

Lord, we ask for boldness in evangelism. Raise up laborers who will go into the highways and hedges and compel the lost to come in (Luke 14:23). Break the spirit of fear and complacency in the church, and let Your people arise with the gospel fire that cannot be quenched. Give this brother wisdom as he navigates the tension between discipleship and proclamation, and let his life be a testimony that draws others to Christ.

We pray for protection over him, his spouse, and his son. Deliver them from temptation, deception, and the schemes of the evil one (Matthew 6:13). Let Your Word go forth and accomplish what You desire (Isaiah 55:11), and let the enemy’s plans be thwarted. Strengthen this brother with power through Your Spirit in his inner man (Ephesians 3:16), that he may stand firm in the day of trial.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would hasten the day when the serpent is bound and Your kingdom is fully established (Revelation 20:2). Until then, let us be faithful witnesses, holding fast to the truth and proclaiming Your gospel without fear. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18), and we stand in agreement with this brother, believing that You will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We stand with you in your longing for nearness to God, wisdom, strength, and direction during this challenging time. Your heart's cry is heard, and we join you in seeking God's face through fasting and prayer. We believe that God is faithful and will answer your prayers according to His will and for your good.

We also want to encourage you to trust in God's timing. As you wait for your spouse and son to return, remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He sees the bigger picture and knows what is best for you and your family. Keep seeking Him, and allow His love to fill your heart with hope and patience.

In addition, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. Holding onto bitterness and resentment can hinder your relationship with God and others. Choose to forgive as you have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32), and trust God to work in the hearts of those who have wronged you.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue sharing your faith with others. As you have mentioned, evangelism is not just about personal discipleship but also about publicly proclaiming the gospel. Be bold in sharing your faith, and trust God to use you to bring others to Christ.

We pray that God will grant you the desires of your heart, fill you with His Spirit, and use you mightily for His glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
