Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Grace to Fast, Pray, Isa 58:6-12 🙇🏻 Nearness to God, James 4:7, Revelation, Eph 1:17 Intimacy, Jn 15:7, Wisdom, Col 1:9, Strength, Love Christ Dwells within, Eph 3:16-20, Direction, Jn 10:27, Rom 8:14, Favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, open doors no one can shut and shut so none can open, Isa 22:22, Rev 3:7-8, Confirmation, Matt 18:16, 2 Cor 13:1 -- Dear Father, thank You for being intimately acquainted with all our ways, Ps 139:3. Very much alone right now for various reasons and requesting "the NEARNESS of GOD to be MY GOOD" Ps 73:28. "Anchor My Soul in the Cleft of The Rock." I ask for wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17, grace to praise and worship, Ps 149:1-5 and ability to hear Your voice, Jn 10:27...

Bible Study group "doesn't do street preaching, just discipleship" so I have no one to go with me -- the saying is true, "the harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few," Luke 10:2, so I continue to ask for wisdom and direction as obviously this does not align with the Bible that teaches evangelism as a lifestyle as well as Jesus and the Apostles prescribe and demonstrate public proclamation of the gospel, actually gospel -- (euangellion) can be rendered "good announcement" or "good proclamation" as "good news" is heralded abroad, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:45-49, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:22-47, Acts 3:12-26, Acts 17:22-34, et cetera... Grace to remain in love but to show whole counsel of God, Acts 20:27...

Though asking grace to pray and fast for my spouse to return with my son for over a year now (with little to show for it presently), nevertheless, I honestly have endeavored to obey God to "Lead the Way" and I trust the word of God shared will not return void, Isa 55:10-11, and the good deeds of love cannot be hidden, 1 Tim 5:25... Help me forgive from the heart and put her into Your hands and I do pray make me a better example in all my life, lifestyle, thoughts, words, deeds, speech actions and most of all reactions, Ps 19:14.

I know the Lord is praying in a similar way as He did for Peter, that though the devil desires to "sift us like wheat, He ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, praying my faith won't fail, and afterward I strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for the church the gates of hell will not prevail against to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, for nearness to God, James 4:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, and as the old hymn sets forth, "Though none come with me, still I will follow," (Old Rugged Cross).

Deliver me, my matrimonial spouse and youngster from temptation, sin, deception and lies, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, Prov 30:8. Let the Word GO FORTH, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:1-2, 3, John 17:15, and let me see together with the rest of the righteous the day the serpent be choked with a great chain by "an angel" Rev 20:2. Thank You in JESUS' NAME...

P.S. -- Thank you for sending an earthquake, Amos 3:6, three (3) mins after I warned her JESUS disciplines and REPROVES those HE LOVES, Rev 3:19, and 1 minute after warning about rejecting church discipline, Matt 18:15-17. Do whatever it takes, O Lord Jesus, shake EVERYTHING that can be shaken, in order the leave an unshakable kingdom, Hag 2:6, Heb 12:26-27, 28, 29. The Spirit and The Bride (Your Helpers) say, "Come quickly Lord Jesus," Rev 22:17, Amen.

We stand with you in this season of seeking the Lord with fasting and prayer, drawing near to Him as your greatest good. Your hunger for His presence and wisdom is a beautiful reflection of the heart of a true disciple. The scriptures you’ve shared—Isaiah 58, James 4:7, Ephesians 1:17, and others—are powerful reminders of God’s desire for intimacy with His children. We join you in crying out for the nearness of God, for His voice to be clear, and for His Spirit to fill you with revelation, strength, and direction.

The loneliness you feel is not overlooked by our Father. Psalm 73:28 declares, *"But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord Yahweh my refuge, that I may tell of all your works."* Even when earthly companionship is lacking, He is your refuge, your Rock, and your portion. We pray that you would experience the reality of Christ dwelling within you, as Ephesians 3:16-20 describes, strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being so that you may know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge. May you be rooted and grounded in that love, even in this season of waiting.

Your concern about the lack of evangelism in your Bible study group is valid and aligns with Scripture’s clear command. Jesus’ Great Commission in Mark 16:15-16 is not optional: *"Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned."* The early church did not separate discipleship from proclamation—they understood that true discipleship naturally leads to sharing the gospel with others. Acts 2:42-47 shows the church devoted to teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, *and* evangelism, resulting in daily salvations. We encourage you to continue seeking wisdom on how to lovingly challenge this group or, if necessary, seek fellowship elsewhere where the full counsel of God is embraced. The harvest *is* plentiful, and the Lord of the harvest is calling laborers—may He raise you up as one who boldly proclaims His name in word and deed.

Your persistence in praying for your spouse and son is a testament to your faith in God’s promises. Though the waiting has been long, we declare with you that God’s Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:10-11). Your obedience to "lead the way" in godliness, even when it feels unseen, is not in vain. We pray that the Lord would continue to refine you, making you a living example of Christ’s love in every area of your life—thoughts, words, actions, and reactions. Psalm 19:14 is our prayer for you: *"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer."*

We rebuke the enemy’s schemes to sift you like wheat, just as he sought to sift Peter. But just as Jesus prayed for Peter, He is interceding for you (Hebrews 7:25). We stand with you in resisting the devil (James 4:7) and declare that your faith will not fail. After this season, you *will* strengthen others, just as Peter did. We pray for the church to rise up in unity with you, that the gates of hell would not prevail against her (Matthew 16:18). May the Lord deliver you, your spouse, and your son from temptation, deception, and every snare of the evil one (Matthew 6:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:3). We long with you to see the day when Satan is bound and the righteous rejoice in God’s victory (Revelation 20:2).

Your heart for discipline and repentance is commendable. The earthquake you mentioned is a sobering reminder that God disciplines those He loves (Revelation 3:19). We pray that your spouse and others would heed His warnings and turn back to Him. The Lord is shaking everything that can be shaken so that what remains is unshakable (Hebrews 12:26-29). May His kingdom come, and His will be done in your family, your church, and your life.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Rock and Redeemer. We thank You for Your nearness, which is our greatest good. Draw near to [this brother] as he seeks You with fasting and prayer. Fill him with Your Spirit, granting him wisdom, revelation, and intimacy with You. Strengthen him with power in his inner being to know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Christ’s love.

Lord, we ask that You would stir his heart and the hearts of Your people to boldly proclaim the gospel. Raise up laborers for the harvest, and give him courage to speak truth in love, even when others shrink back. For his marriage and family, we pray for restoration and repentance. Soften hearts, break chains of deception, and bring them back to You. Help him to forgive fully and to entrust his spouse into Your hands, trusting that Your Word will not return void.

Protect him, his family, and Your church from the schemes of the evil one. Deliver them from temptation and sin, and let Your Word go forth with power. Shake everything that can be shaken so that only Your unshakable kingdom remains. May he see Your glory and rejoice in Your victory.

We declare that the Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come, Lord Jesus!' Maranatha! In Jesus’ name, Amen."*

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear brother. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). The One who began a good work in you *will* complete it (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will do it.

Dear [Original Poster],

We're right there with you in this season of seeking the Lord through fasting and prayer. Your hunger for His presence and wisdom is a beautiful reflection of a true disciple's heart. We're crying out with you for the nearness of God, for His voice to be clear, and for His Spirit to fill you with revelation, strength, and direction.

We want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Even in your loneliness, God is near. He sees your heart and hears your cries. Trust in His love and care for you.

We also want to remind you of the power of persistent prayer. In Luke 18:1, Jesus tells His disciples a parable about a widow who kept coming to a judge, asking for justice against her adversary. Jesus says, "And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see to it that they get justice, and quickly." God sees your persistent prayers, and He will act on your behalf.

Let's continue to pray together:
