Beloved Servant
🙇🏻 Father, thank You "through the perseverance and encouragement of the Scriptures, 📖 we have hope," Rom 15:4. In the midst of suffering, James 5:13 says, "let us pray," as Jesus taught, "we ought always to pray and not lose heart," Luke 18:1. So we supplicate, "You who spared not Your Only Begotten Son, John 3:16, but with Him graciously give us all things," Rom 8:32, Help us study to show ourselves approved, 2 Tim 2:15, read and listen to good biblical counseling material, Ps 23:3, write prayers and teachings that benefit ourselves and others -- and may trials NOT HINDER the ADVANCEMENT of The GOSPEL of The KINGDOM of JESUS, 1 Thes 2:2, but rather let it SPREAD with POWER AND CONVICTION and be received as it is -- the actual WORD of GOD for SALVATION, not coming from man, Rom 1:16, 2 Thes 2:13.

Give Your angels charge over my wife, son, me, our pastors and all of you my prayer partners (including all their and your families), Ps 91:9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. May we clearly hear Your voice, John 10:27, being constantly led by The Holy Spirit (as adopted children with the same Father as Jesus and each other), Rom 8:14, and MOSTLY obeying Your voice, even if it's difficult or costs us something, Gen 22:16-18; 2 Sam 24:24. Keep us all from all sin, Zeph 3:13, temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- keep deception and lies far from us, Prov 30:8.

Again, allow trials to draw me (and our readers, prayer and financial partners) closer to You in prayer, James 5:13 and trials, Acts 16:25. Help us read, memorize and apply The Bible, Ps 119:11, with understanding, Lk 24:45, and application, James 1:21-22. Help me worship like Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail, Acts 16:25. Help me fast the fast You have chosen, to loose bondages, set the oppressed free and restore righteous dwellings and covenantal relationships, Isa 58:6-12. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your earnest desire to walk closely with the Lord through trials and triumphs alike. Your request is rich with Scripture, and we see your hunger to align every aspect of life—prayer, worship, study, and evangelism—with God’s holy Word. It is beautiful to see your heart for obedience, even when it is costly, and your passion for the advancement of the Gospel.

First, we must acknowledge that you have rightly centered your request in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His finished work on the cross that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. We rejoice that you have placed Him at the forefront of your petition, for without Him, our prayers would be in vain.

Father, we lift up this dear brother and his family to You, asking that You would indeed give Your angels charge over them, their pastors, and all who stand in prayer with them. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We declare Your protection over their lives, their minds, and their spirits, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Guard them from the schemes of the evil one, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and keep them from all sin, as You have promised in Zephaniah 3:13: *"The remnant of Israel will do no wrong, nor speak lies, neither will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth."*

We pray that You would sanctify them in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Open their ears to hear Your voice clearly, as Jesus said, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"* (John 10:27). May they be led by the Holy Spirit in every decision, for as Romans 8:14 declares, *"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God."* Strengthen them to obey Your voice, even when it requires sacrifice, for You have promised to bless obedience (Genesis 22:18). Father, we ask that You would keep them from every form of deception and lies, as Proverbs 30:8 pleads, *"Remove far from me falsehood and lies."*

We are encouraged by your desire to use trials as an opportunity to draw closer to God in prayer and worship. James 1:2-4 reminds us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* We pray that, like Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail, you would worship in the midst of suffering, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). May your trials not hinder the Gospel but instead become a testimony of God’s faithfulness, so that others may see His power and glory.

Father, we ask that You would help this brother and all who read this to study Your Word diligently, as 2 Timothy 2:15 commands: *"Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth."* May they hide Your Word in their hearts (Psalm 119:11) and apply it to their lives, for James 1:22 warns, *"But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves."* Open their eyes to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45) and give them wisdom to discern Your will in every situation.

We also lift up your request for fasting, that it would be the fast You have chosen—a fast that looses the bonds of wickedness, undoes the straps of the yoke, lets the oppressed go free, and breaks every yoke (Isaiah 58:6). May your fasting and prayer bring restoration to covenantal relationships and righteous dwellings, as You promise in Isaiah 58:12: *"Those who shall be of you will build the old waste places. You will raise up the foundations of many generations. You will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Paths with Dwellings."*

Finally, we pray for the advancement of the Gospel, that it would spread with power and conviction, as it is the very Word of God for salvation (Romans 1:16). May those who hear it receive it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God (1 Thessalonians 2:13). Father, use this brother and his family as bold witnesses for Christ, that many would come to know You through their testimony.

We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We stand with you, dear friend, in your desire to grow closer to the Lord through trials. We're inspired by your commitment to align every aspect of life with God's Word. Let's pray together:

Father, we thank You for this brother's hunger to walk closely with You. Help him, and us, to trust in You more, even in the midst of trials. Remind us, as Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Strengthen him, and us, to persevere in prayer, worship, study, and evangelism. Help us to be doers of the Word, not just hearers, as James 1:22 encourages.

Protect him, and us, from the enemy's schemes. Keep us from sin and deception, and help us to walk in Your truth, as You have promised in Zephaniah 3:13.

Use trials to draw us closer to You, Father. Help us to see them as opportunities for growth, as James 1:2-4 teaches. And may our trials serve as a testimony of Your faithfulness, so that others may see Your power and glory.

Help him, and us, to study Your Word diligently, hiding it in our hearts and applying it to our lives. Open our eyes to understand it and give us wisdom to discern Your will in every situation.

We also lift up his request for fasting. Help it to be a fast that loosens the bonds of wickedness, as Isaiah 58:6 describes. May it bring restoration to covenantal relationships and righteous dwellings.

Finally, we pray for the advancement of the Gospel. Help it to spread with power and conviction, as it is the very Word of God for salvation. Use him, and us, as bold witnesses for Christ, that many may come to know You through our testimony.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
