Grace for each one of us

The Lord has promised good to me, His word my hope secures;

He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures. Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace, The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, who call's me here below, Will be forever mine.

But we have this treasure in earthin vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perpleced, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. God bless all of you
